Quick question. Is this story about Rogue? Because she seems to be the main concern. So badass Wolverine won't go back to fight for the woman he loves, but he'll return to save his pet? I'm admitedly curious as to where you are taking this... An update soon? (Pushy, I know)

Author's Response: Keep yer cool lady!! Forgot the two reaons for Wolverine coming back....this was one of 'em. Will try to have another one by tonight. (BTW....what do I get in return?) ::wiggling eyebrows::

This is where I got the impression it was Emma. Not crazy...seriously, i'm not-- Looking at each of them now, he feels the almost familiar level of camaraderie. She is the Storm, she takes everything in her step. She is that way. He is the team-leader. He has to take everything in his step. He has learnt to do it. The redhead standing next to him has played a big part in that journey, one that started the first day each of them came to him, young, inexperienced, fearful of the world around them. They have learned to control their gifts and during their time here, have found love with each other. Found and almost lost it as well. That leads him to his next subject, the platinum blonde woman dressed in her familiar and almost standard white. ----- “Scott, Ororo, I would like you to meet Ms. Emma Frost, Had he not asked the telepath to come to the school, his team-leader would have turned to him with his emotional problems and fears. Instead, he turned to her, leaving the woman he loved and who was in a fragile state herself, all alone. So, uh, yeah. Names would help.

Author's Response: Scooter's part in all of this is getting all mixed up. I still can't decide what to do with him. I have taken him from a oblivious but faithful lover to a possible adulterer husband....the latest update is not helping matters either. Getting the names out now!!!

Xavier still is and will perhaps always be the personification of the mutant goal that the X-Men fight to bring about. His ever fatherly figure continues to guide all within the big family that the X-Men is and I think at least you came close enough in making me feel that he was that caring father that looked upon his children and wondered “what would the wise thing to do be?”. Though I see that he still has the problems of a mere mortal ;p I sure hope now that the professor is properly introduced to the story he will make things happen, or at least be that shoulder to rest upon when times are bad (like right now). Keenly awaits the coming chapters to see where this will be taken, perhaps it is time for some Ro or Logan to balance things.

Author's Response: Thanks for the support on Xavier. Ro and Logan, both are coming out now!!

Review, review.. Such a hard thing to do :) well as for the written word I would say it was a good chapter, there was tension and drama and whatnot, though the members of the story should have preferably been Ororo/Logan or something, as I have said, Jean is no fun :p Don’t really know what to say about the larger subject for the chapter.. Betrayal and forgiveness and such things are always hard to see eye to eye on, as everyone have different opinions. Though I will say this, I think Scotts actions in this reflects the way he “forgave” Wolverine in Ultimate X-men #33, and I think him to be a great man because he is that way with almost everything, even if he has a stick up his bum ;p

Author's Response: Uh-oh, you like Scooter. Then you are definitely not going to like where I am going right now. Well, you can't win them all....can you?

Just a question read previous review...how did the previous reviewer get that Emma was the one that Scott was having the affair with. When I read standard white with platinum hair I was still thiking of Storm..and in that white uniform she has in the comics.......Man..I'm lost...maybe you should give names so we can be clear.... I'm still trying ot figure out what Rogue was saying about which guy (I don't even know) in the ending sentences!

Author's Response: Just to be clear....it was both Emma and Ororo. That's all my story and I am sticking to it!!

hiya....hmmm!!!! I liked this chapter, if for nothing else but Xavier. Even if he has gone crazy and tried to destroy the X-men a few times I still like PX. So this was a great installment. As for the other characters. Well happy for Scott he seems to like being cuckold and he was again cuckold again by the lame excuse Jean gave for defending what she did....Poor man, those glasses mess up his vision. As for Wolverine leave him where he is....or have him come back for Rogue..since she feels so lost without his presence and is defending him so much. At least he has someone who appreciates him and then she (Rogue) can stay as angry as she wants with everyone and people can just move on beyond this. Storm.....well if not the surfer, leave her alone man. I mean this is like really bad soap opera drama. I love her and to see her sucked into typical Wolverine drama is too much for me. Didn't he have sex with Mystique in this story....what more can you ask about stupidity! And yet he claims to love Storm. Her best bud and one of her worst enemies to get your kicks...well that's just class. Just sto keep safe from STI's hook Storm up with someone else or no one. Now Gambit......don't really know what to do with that. You can create a threesome then. Have Gambit/Rogue/Wolverine as the ultimate couple and leave the rest as they are. This chapter was a great introduction of Xavier...but even if Xavier knows what can he really offer. These are adults with their own mind, and self-destructive personality when I see Wolverine and Jean. I mean what can be done to save them. Do they want saving? Then it makes me think of how in the past 2 or 3 chapters the Summer's relationship has strengthened. I'm not seeing that. I feel as if both Jean and Scott remained and got married because it was the given thing to do it. It was understandable and both don't really know about being apart. Jean claimes that she didn't some kind of verification of what she was and Wolverine gave her that...but if she really loved Scott, would she have done it?! Those then ask Scott and Storm weren't interrupted would they have done something? And if so would they have regretted it. I think Scott is far too loyal for that. And that's the problem. Scott is loyal to Jean. A relationship on love is not based entirely on loyality that is just part of it next to trusting the person. And Storm what would happen........It would ahve come close but I think the two parties involved wouldn't have done a betrayal, or full on adultery (which it's not since Jean was classed as dead) because of their devotion to Jean memory or otherwise. I'm a bit ticked that this impression is given. Even if they did have sex and they did not regret it, it would not continue on because Storm if not Scott's rational being would take over because they know they don't love each other like that!! But Wolverine and Jean continued on for months...shame really! Well I'm waiting for the next chapter..but I'm also in waiting with baited breath for X-verse's new chapter!

Ok, let me get this straight. It was Emma that Scott was fooling around with...not Ororo. Then why was Jean bitching about Ororo? And Emma not mentioned until just now? I'd figure that for a key element in the story. And so Friggin' what that Ro kept Logan at arm's length--obviously he didn't deserve to come any closer. He betrayed her while supposedly in love with her...there is no excuse. Whether they were 'officially' together or not, it's betrayal, plain and simple. BTW...where the hell is Logan anyways? And I appreciate the reflections of the supporting cast, but i was under the impression that Ororo was going to be the center of this fic. So far it's more about everyone BUT ororo and Logan. I'm not trying to be overly critical, but at this point, I have to say I am quickly losing interest in what could have been one of your best stories.

This chapter explains a few things, but I still don't understand what happened between Ro and Logan. Were they together? Other than my silly question, another great chapter!!!!

Ok, Scooter and Jean married. I'm okay with. Ro feeling guilt over Logan. Fuck him. He's a douche bag. Her turning Remy away? Never happen. Rogue should just die. That would make me happy. Uhm, yeah. That about covers it...and oh, now that Remy's free...? (A girl could hope). I love my RoLo, but this Logan deserves a good lesson on how to treat a woman. More soon?

Heh....you do realize that was a very weak attempt at in some way defending Jean..or in some way pacifying what she did by Storm and Scott's indiscretion. Keep in mind I like Scott, always have. No matter that the case in question went as far as a kiss and probably longer. It is still not compared to what Jean and Wolverine did, knowingly and without consideration. I have no respect for those that commit the act of adultery, and in Jean's case she did. She was malicious and I'm sorry the case of wanting something...from wolverine..all of the sudden now she can talk to Scott. What of the past?! Was there something then keeping her from telling him? What makes now so different?! She's still a bitch. And I don't see how what Storm was still so bad. I'm not saying she's innocent, but at the time of the kiss, Jean was dead...and even a month so. I can see how wanting someone something to make you feel alive, causes things to happen. But unlike Jean and Wolverine they stopped. I'm sure that a plethora of opportunities came up for Scott and Storm to do something. But neighter did. I'm sure Jean didn't come back 2 months later. Possibly a year.... And yet we see nothing sexual happened between Scott and Storm. And yet with Jean and Wolverine..they took advantage of all opportunites and on a continous basis. Sorry, but that is bloody cruel. Keeping in mind that Scott and Storm were alive and well and living in the same roof, even if Scott traveled. I'm sorry but the above attempt did not seem sinful, it seemed understandbly wrong, but nothing in the league of Jean and Wolverine. Wolverine is still a selfish prick in this story and there's nothing you've done to deflect that view point. I'm still wondering why he had to run away...what a turkey. He has to realize that if he wants something he has to fight for it. You don't go miles away and hope on a phone call. At this point this was like why I was sort of rooting for the Surfer guy, because Wolverine isn't worth it. And Rogue got's to get over herself. I still don't see how Wolverine is so innocent over Storm. But then she probaly doesn't know the whole story..only part of it. And why do I get the feeling that after the kiss Storm told Wolverine about the incident, since they became best buds. Then did Wolverine feel a need to one up Storm. Or do something with Jean becasue storm wouldn't let him get as close as Scott did? Or maybe He didn't try to get as close to Storm as Scott did? He's a prick and come back and fight for the woman he supposedly loves (even with major opposition)!! And Rogue needs to get the whole story, so she can get off her high horse!! Storm....well Storm she needs to go away. She needs to get out of the X-mansion, maybe go to Africa without telling everyone. She needs a vacaction from all the drama and stupidity! I'd feel suffocated in that house...I'd need to purge myself; as I believe she might need to (where else but home can do that for a soul...hmmmm?)!!! Keep up the great work..but you haven't made Storm into the evil one....or as prickish as Wolverine and Jean. VB

I'd like to know everything Rogue knows! Please :) She's still on Logan's side and hates Ro's guts even after seven month. That means there just has to be something we don't know yet. There has to be more than it seems to be. It all looked like as if Logan just fucked up everything and that it was all his fault. But I'm absolutely not sure anymore. Because of Rogue. She would have had no problems kicking his ass and telling him so if he'd fucked up. But she's sticking with him instead. I hope to find out soon what really is behind all this. And I hope to see Logan back as well :)

What a good chapter! I hate that Rogue and Ro are on such bad terms, especially when Logan is obviously the one to blame (just my opinion). Can't wait to see what happens next!

Okay I still don't see how Storm sent Wolverine away. Well I gues it depends on the rational. When Storm's says leave me alone to Wolverine that is understandable. He has a thing with her but he's fucking her best friend on the sidea who's also the fiance/future wife of her other best friend. I can see her holding both Jean and Wolverine responsible for what's going on. Especially Wolverine for not fighting against it and denying Jean. I can see that pissing me off. And maybe a string of jealousy, I think I'd be pissed more at being lied at and being played in Storm's case. Again in the leave me alone even if he said, leave all together, she may have wanted that, but she never said it. Now personally if I wanted him gone and I mean really goen I would have said it, but she didn't. Which gives me the impression that she could have dealt well with his presence just with him not with her. I'm still trying to figure why Rogue is pissed at Storm. For not being with Wolverine?! Or has she forgotten what Wolverine has done?! I think that plays a upart when both of your best friends are fucked by him, one literal and the other figuretively. Can someone give her a few life truths here?! I mean I'm not feeling this whole rigtheous indignation she's feeling....it's a bit silly. And with 7 months down the line she should be thinking a bit more clearly. That Storm is far from the enemy! And Storm and this Davis Cameron..what a loser, I was never a fan of Sufer Guy....I don't know what your thinking of putting them together in this.....I would have thrown T'challa as a consultant....oooooh that would have caused problems...or even Dracula.. I hope Storm doesn't go after Wolverine she has nothihing to apologize for. Ugh...he has to stop running away from things, he's supposedd to be better than that and a bit more mature. He should have stood his ground and fought for the woman. When does he know it's time when he's hundreds of thousands of miles away huh?! I'm telling you Wolverine is one selfish bastard, and he has people defending him?! It just doesn't seem right. I'm not defeding Ro, but if you see the way the story is going I mean she's an innocent bystander, who thrown into an extremely lustful and treacherous situation where two people are ridiculously selfish and then; she maybe thinking something is goign on between the two of them. And he thinks he's doign something RIGHT by telling her. It's like I heard once....the most selfish thing someone can do is telling someone else they love them (what if they don't love you back). Then it's like a burden. So when she see's scott she's lieing to him. I'm still unsure whether Scott knows, and if Scott knew I really don'tt hink he's have maried Jean. He may not like Wolverine, but he wouldn't be able to marry Jean if Jean was fucking wolverine..because tht would say a lot about him. And it puts Storm in a position of lieing to people and having to look people in the eye she doesn't want to...nor trust, and keeping secrets. I mean it's selfish of him. I'm sorry he's know prince and I' not feeling the continuous animosity towards Storm. If anything she needs a right good talking too...and not from Storm...she has nothing to prove to any one. Ugh...don't know how to take this...really don't. I'm disappointed in all this righteous indignation. I don't like Davis Cameron....but I didn't like the way Wolverine treated her either..how was she too she was important when he was fuckign another woman....keep in mind the woman he always wanted!!! ALWAYS WANTED!!!! I'd be pissed too! VB

Author's Response: There are a few things that still have to see the light of the day in this fic. What is Storm and Wolverine's deal for one. What about the Jeand and Scott thing? Where does Frosty fit into all this? What will happen to Rogue and Remy now, with both of them on polar sides of the arguement. All your arguments are made with Storm as the *innocent* party. What if she has soem skeletons in her ow *garden*. BTW....I don't like T'Challa and clearly steer clear of him in my fics, although may use him sometime in *Belonging*...who knows? Your review has helped a lot, given me a couple of new ideas. Lets see if they work out. I am starting to think about the Scooter-Jeannie deal. But still not sure if their secret comes out.
