Well confused, I am not (first time for everything). But I am on the verge of thinking that there *can’t* be a happy ending for this story, from my point of view it would actually lessen all that angst and mix-ups and hiccups and whatnots that has been going on :) Go for the kill I say, make us weep with a sad ending, or as I would explain to the other side of my life “I got dirt in my eye”. But never the less I *want* you to prove me wrong, that there clearly could be a happy ending. The Logan that is showing right now has got me, how should I put it.. disappointed.. perhaps it is the situation that has made him to this shadow of himself, without that oh so self-assured attitude he so previously showed. Ororo on the other hand, she shows some promise when she tries to start the dialogue, but then it felt to weak from both sides.. But it may have been enough, I never was that good at knowing such things. As to never knowing what transpired between the four, I can live with that, can they? =)

Author's Response: Well, I have written the ending and its a happy one. I don't like sad endings as such and try to avoid them....even in the fics I read. As for Logan, hopefully the final chapter will clear things up for you. As for their dialogue, both are in the dumps, and although they want to bring it out, their fears n' confusions stop them.

I am enjoying this story, however, I am also slightly confused. Will we every discover what was wiped from their minds? Also . . . if this is the middle of the story. . . how long is it exactly? Nice work overall.

Author's Response: I am almost sure that I won't be revealing it. I am somehow liking this confusion. If you read my other work (Marvel or DC), its usually clear cut, on the up and up. But this, this fic started at a point when all I was getting were dark-twisted thoughts, and even though I have included a couple of light moments in the beginning, things have been in keeping with the initial mood setting. As for its length....I had set it up as a oneshot, then the favorable reviews got me thinking of about a 6-7 chapter run.....and the rest, as they say is...'review' history. Its the readers, who have been the driving force behind this story.

Why did you have to make me feel sorry for Wolvie?? I was hoping that they would be able to become friends after finding out what Emma/Scott did to them. By the way, what happened to Emma and Scott?? Good chapter, especially with the RoLo interaction. Good job!

Author's Response: Emma and Scott, haven't decided what to do with them. I had more in mind, but somehow, the confused state of Logan struck me, and everything else was lost. If, you notice, he seems to be talking in circles.

Well, i just have to say first off that this story is fantastic. After reading the story this is what i Initially thought. And this is possiably the worst thing that can happen causing 'Ro to hate men. But Scott raped 'Ro, and she couldn't fight him off because of she started to remember when she got raped when she was younger and she felt so helpless.... and then.... Wolverine hears her whimpers and cries and comes and helps her.. but something happens... who knows your the author you'll probably think of something great...

Author's Response: As to what Scott did, I am almost decided in that I am NOT going to specify what exactly he did. Afterall, in real life, you don't get to know everything. Saying that, your idea is very intriguing. Maybe I'll use it somewhere else!!

What the hell did he do to Ro? ... Must be something Logan could have smelled/sensed. So, let's see. What if the kiss between Ro and Scott wasn't just a kiss. Mmh. Logan would have sensed if Scott and Ro had sex. But would Ro have sex with Scott? I don't think so. So he must have forced her. But she would have fried his ass if he tried to do such a thing! That means he must have done somthing to her to get what he wanted... Okay, the ugliest theory I can come up with is: Scott drugged Ro, raped her -and if that's not ugly enough- she got pregnant and he made her get rid of the child. So there! That's my theory ;) Or is that too "freaky weird"? LOL Hey, there must be a reason why Emma locked her own memories away as well. It must really be something ugly. Or she's just messing with them again... Okay, maybe the pregnant-part is a bit too much ;D Did they alter Beast's memories as well? He too has enhanced senses.

Author's Response: Whatever he did or didn't do...I am not going to say. It maybe that Emma is telling a lie....who knows? Even she only knows that she did something...what, gone.

Gah, Bats. What'd you go and do? You took the trap door out of the hole you dug yourself in. I just knew you were gonna play the whole false memory card the second Logan became unredeemable (and he was). Grr. I'd rather have seen Logan struggle to overcome his flaws for the woman he loves than see you make a scapegoat of Scooter, hell even emma deserves better character treatment. Where to next?

Author's Response: No windy, no trap doors here. Logan is still in the doghouse as far as Ororo is concerned. The Scooter-Emma thing was just a sid plot to get things even more confusing. Everything is clearing up. Rogue-Remy done, Scooter-Emma-Jean, kinda done. All that is left is 'Ro and Logan. And Emma, never gonna get any better than this...as far as I am concerned is a Grade-A Sl*t.

I actually think I could fathom what Emma and Scott could have done against the two, although to say it would ruin it for others, and I could be wrong to >_< It will be fun to see if my thoughts are as equally confusing as yours. Keep the pace with this one ;p
