So Ro has been a labrat, too? Whoa... and she feels save hearing the release of claws! Who's claws I wonder. X's or Logan's? ... I loved Logan grumbling and muttering about the spandex outfit, heh :) And what did Hulk just do? Did he grab him? Please don't squeeze now... ouch. Hope Logan can beat Hulk soon or talk some sense back into his thick head so he can get back to the mansion :)
Author's Response: 'Ro has been a lot of things in this fic...everything in its due time. The spandex thing was done to harken to times past and to link them with the now and present. Will try to get a pic to show the current costume I've in mind for him. As for the Hulk thing....still haven't decided. I may or maynot delve into it....depending on my mood.

Actually I was following it as Storm in the movie and then Storm maybe in X2. Kind of her development. But comic base is cool. I liked this chapter of course. I needed to know about Storm, now I have to wait until Wolvie comes back or until Storm develops a relationship with X23 and Jubilee.
And are you going to give more humanoid characteristics to X23? Right now I'm just picturing a robot, with no real essence to her!
Short but sweet. Oh and any more Gambit/Ro moments?
By the way I wasn't happy how xavier, scott, and Jean talked about Storm. I was hoping they give her a bit of credit....But then this is Xavier he's always doing something that I question. He always thinks he knows best.
Author's Response: I don't like any of the movie characters all that much, except for Xavier and Rogue. So the Storm and Wolverine I write about, almost always have characteristics from their comic counterparts. As for X23, you should check out the limited series (or full series) of hers, the uncanny x-men repesentation and the evolution cartoon series. She is quite robotic in some ways and bonds with very few people and is even more closed than Logan in some ways. Understand that she is just started her life as a person. She was just a weapon until a couple of years ago. An' no, no Gambit/Ro moments, especially not any romantic or intimate ones. Gambit is younger than Ororo and if he does any overt flirting, it will be with the younger cast....and then too there is a chance of X gutting him...just for the principal of the thing. As for your view on Xavier, Scooter and Jeannie, I still haven't revealed everything. SO, don't be in a rush to diss on them. And the Professor I am writing about is more of a movieverse + evoverse guy and definitely not from the newer x-men series and ultimateverse series.

Heh, yellow and blue spandex, oh my... :) But on the other hand... that stuff is like a second skin, so tight. Heh. Mmhh... *yum* Erm, anyway... I can't lose the feeling that Logan already knows Ro. Or at least knows something about her. First calling her Ro and now this little outburst. But maybe that's just me. After all, I'm sitting here with a fever and a head-cold, so I'm more than just a bit woozy, heh :) I really liked Logan's departure from his kids, especially the comment about the drugged food *lol* Mmh... so now the Prof is worried about Ro? Why? What does he know? What happened to Ro? ... I need some answers here :)
Author's Response: Yup...gotta go with the yellow n' blue. But only for this specific mission. Otherwise he will wear the usual black leather but with yellow tiger stripes on the shoulder ala. Ultimate X-Men. And his deal with Ororo....well, I am still thinking that up. The Prof has some ideas, n' so do Scooter n' Jeannie.

As far as I am concerned you can take forever to end this story, how I do so much enjoy the slow tempo, the great interactions, the events, well very much everything really :) I do think I can easily proclaim this story as it is, to be my favourite of the stories that I currently have written reviews for. This Logan reminds me of the early years, back in the days when no one knew his real name (X-men) when they all got surprised with every new emotion/thing they saw him showing. Makes me kind of nostalgic, and the fact that Hulk will partake does much to elevate the feeling. It seems that Logan knows something about Ororo, either by means of knowing her from before or by his well-informed contacts, the answer I hope for is not the latter.
Author's Response: It might happen. This fic is going to be a deatiled one....a real 'Series'. Even the name is kinda grown on me. I think its ur fav. cause this is the first time I am explaining and taking time with each character. And as for the classical x-men, I am taking a lot from them too, along with the not so well known ones. The hulk, haven't read that specific issue, but it is a pivotal point in Wolverine's life and warranted a mention. As for Ororo, her story is the hidden Joker.

Author's Response: The yellow and blue is from the Deptt-H days. The current uniform will be revealed shortly. As for Wolverine, he is certainly on his own in this one....explained the reason for that in his conversation with Fury.

Oh so that was Bruce Banner that was in the prison. See...I didn't expect that., not that I knew where he was or anything. So cool you had Wolverine list all those teams...so wicked. I do wonder what Alfa Flight is up to in the Artic.
Now I know for sure Wolverine must know Storm on some level. His comments are a bit too personal not to be based on some relationship....acquaintance or past lovers.
And what is up with Ororo. Come on...I was hoping to see a bit more of what to what caused Ro to be the way she is, and of course for even Xavier to be worried for her......Anyway keep it coming...I love the adventure, action, hope to be romance, and cameo's!! Nick rocks!
Author's Response: Well, had to list all the possibilities. As for RoLo, it starts next chapter. As for Fury, his part in this section atleast, is almost over. At the most a couple of more scenes and then he will move onto his own work....and we onto ours.

HULK SMASH! I love that green hunk :D As for Wolvie's meeting with the X guys: so cool! He really doesn't give a shit about anything, heh :) Get in, get Remy, get out. And scare the shit out of them on the way, heh. Even though Cyke had no idea he was touching a very sensitive subject, he really had it coming. Accusing Logan of all people of selling the kids to the government labs! So, with the Hulk on the lose Logan needs to stay. Good :) Do they team up to go after Smash-Guy together? Are the Ultimates in this, too? Or do they all just sit back and watch the Wolverine in action? Can't wait to find out!

hah that's my girl Witchblade!!! Wicked, she was brought in. Oh you can bring in Black Cat as some how connected to Storm in an AU. It seems that Wolverine has one too many ladies!!
Again I can't wait for more.....especially when everyone meets wolverine. Who's X23? That little girl that tried to kill Wolvie?! Anyway yeah, back to Storm and Wolveie meeting...or can I see some hand to hand combat with Storm and Witchblade if she shows up? Or just Storm fighting....?! One of my biggest requests?!
Oh is this a Psylocke Gambit pair up in this? Or will it always be Rogue and Gambit?!
Oh and yeah I liked Rogue's character here, mainly because she's on equal footing as Jubilee. I get annnoyed when Jubilee as shown as less for Wolverine when in the comics.....she's a significant figure for him. If she's on equal standing I have no problems, but in your other fics, besides FI, Jubilee has no real connection and is mainly shown as a pest! It's a bit unnerving for a Jubie fan! (This is another reason why I disliked the X-men films...besides Storm's less than stellar presence).
Anyway great addition, still trying to figure what's up with Storm....or what could have happened?! And also now wondering about the relationship between Xavier and McCoy. Since Xavier knows him, but McCoy just knows of Xavier or that's the impression I'm given.

Author's Response: I still haven't got an angle to get Black Cat in. For that I will have to get Parker in, and that too still hasn't worked out. First of all, I will need to get the age for the web-slinger and then go accordingly. Psylocke is kinda a wild card here. She had the pick of the litter so as to say. Even given Scooter a couple of looks. As for Xavier & McCoy. That too will come up....maybe soon.

Love the way you write Jubes! Always makes me laugh, heh. She just knows exactly how to handle Wolvie :) I like how Ro seems to be in awe of Wolverine and his abilities. Can't wait until they finally meet :) But as things look it's going to happen next chapter. But take all the time you need for the real RoLo part, don't rush things! I like the story a lot as it is right now with all those interesting bits and pieces, the cameos and tied in mysteries (like what's up with Ro, who's connected to whom and how etc.). All of this makes the waiting for some nice RoLo action even better.
Author's Response: Wolvie and Jubes, kinda go hand in hand. and as this is not exactly a 'specific' verse fic. I can get both Rogue from the movies and Jubilee from the Comics. RoLo is going to start but not everything is all flowery. As for 'Ro. Her part is developing a bit slowly than Wolverine's.
