This is my first review being left on this site. This chapter was everything. Wow. Just wow.

Okay now I'm about to cry. Who knew Wolvie could have such a tender side after all that animal sex a few chapters ago? Ro is way lucky to have him and more importantly Woivie is lucky to have her. They so need each other.

I don't know why the movies couldn't go in this direction instead of harping over that prissy Jean character. She is not even all of that. You are fabulous, even if I'm writing this late.

“Ya ever think maybe I need you?” - I think I lost it there. This line is just awesome! And then the part where he showed her that he was crying, too... Perfect! So deep, so full of emotions!
Absolutely loved that last part of this chap. It actually erased everything from my mind I wanted to say about the parts before that, heh... *sniffs*

Author's Response: Awwwww. *hands tissue* That line was unexpected, I just wrote in the moment and it came out, and it fit. I could see Logan grudgingly growling that out. I enjoy a good emotionally driven story, and I'm thrilled you're liking it too! *grins*

Damn. There isn't much for me to say here. The emotional depth and range made this my favorite chapter. You're able to touch down to the core and take a sliver of each character and magnify it out and I have to thank you so much because it makes the story that much more enjoyable but the reveal for both Ororo and Logan in this journey as well. I thoroughly loved this chapter and I will have to read it a few more times just to get other aspects I know I may have missed. Great stuff.

...ya know...my roommate probably thinks i'm crazy. i'm sitting here, off in my own little KC world, chuckling every once in a while, near growling at one point (a small one escaped during the logan/prof/jean/scott scene), and then logan goes and says "ya ever think maybe i need you" and i lose all composure. i made an odd sort of hiccup/grunt thingy and then just cried. and i don't mean some tears, i mean full blown sobbing. so thanks. ;) ::tips hat:: darlin' :D

Jesus! To say that chapter was DEEP would be an understatement! I'm glad they both know it wasn't anyone's fault as to what happened! Two of the strongest X-Men comforting each other, who would have thought? You made me feel Ro's physical and emotional pain! I can't wait for the next chapter! Damn, you're good Hobbins!
