There was so much information to process in this chapter. These two are feeling so much emotionally, it is a little overwhelming. I have laughed, gasped, cried, and dag-on near vomited reading this chapter. That stupid scheming Emma. Don't get me wrong, I like her with Scott, and I love her rivalry with Storm...that just makes for good reading...but the kissing of Wolverine is NOT something that I will be able to tolerate. Kitty was right, she does need to catch a smack down...to bad Storm isn't feeling up to it. Anyway, back to the main point. Logan just needs to get his crap together. I was happy when Emma told him that he was simply Jean's runner-up, maybe now it will sink in to that thick skull of his, and he will be able to move on...on to 'Ro. But now after getting to the end of the chapter I have this sinking feeling...'Ro wants to start a family and live for herself now, so I'm guessing she was running back to Africa and to T'Challa. :::eyes began to tear up::: I think this one is going to be a tear jerker. So in closing...Windrider1 you are awesome!!!! ;-)

Author's Response: Thank you, JG, for the wonderful --WONDERFUL-- review. Logan does need to get his crap together. Whether it will be in time to stop Ororo and T'Challa remains to be seen... More soon. :D

Well! That was definitely an emotional chapter! What an ass that Logan! I suppose the ending redeemed him somewhat but oh how I wanted to smack him and then stomp Emma and kick Logan a few times just for good measure. The reality was harsh but it does look as if he’s at least thinking about how he messed up with Ororo! Now I can see her going back to charming T’Challa vulnerable and succumbing to that rascal but hopefully Logan will think about that too.

This has turned out to be quite a nifty triangle! I'm going to have to agree with the talented Minarya, this is the most compelling story you've written and quite possibly the best.

Author's Response: **Chanting: no pressure, no pressure, no pressure...** Ororo has a lot to think about...where and with who she ends up with is anyone's guess. :P

WOW! WOW! That's twice in a week you amaze me. I *almost* sympathized with Emma there. She's a bitch, but she's the kind you love to hate. You can't help to think that there's something more underneeth that diamond shell. I like teh way you write her. I think she could be good.

I loev the way you analised Wolvie's neeed to take care of teh peopel he loves. You write ROLO so WELL. You're spot on with both of them.

Author's Response: Awwwww....thanks Panther. You make writing so much fun!! ::muah!::

Loved the scenes in the boathouse!
He put his arms around her... again :) I love when he does that!
OMG, that single tear... he saw it and yet resisted the urge to do something about it! Damnit! Why did he not just follow his instincts here? Yeah, she wanted him to leave but when did he ever follow orders that didn't make any sense? ;)
And now she just left. I see it in my head. That scene. Logan sitting in the dark, alone, at the lake while unknown to him Storm is riding her winds, leaving, the distance between them growing and growing. ... That's so sad.
Logan should follow her, should find out about T'Challa! Maybe that'll help him realize his true feelings for Ro. The actual danger of losing her to someone else.

Author's Response: Logan needs a swift kick in the pants. More soon!! Thank you sooooo much for your encouragement. Btw, any new pics??

This story is becoming a fast favorite of mine. Oh, who am i kidding any story with the name Winderider1 next to it is an immediate favorite! So, i have this Ro/Lo side of me where i want Ororo and Logan to conqure all odds and have a happily ever after.

But then i read this story and i don't know, i see my self kinda, sorta, maybe rooting for the Panther to woe Storm. *Dodges Blunt Items* I mean atleast he's coming correct with his advances. I'd take him of Storm decides to live in an African nunery.

All i have to say is that Ro and Lo better get their shit together. And i will still be looking for my happily ever after Ro/Lo ending. But not without a few awesome bumps in the road along the way.

Author's Response: There will be plenty of emotional bumps in the road between our favorite duo. As for T'Challa...don't count him out of the running for Ro's affections. Logan is a bit thick when it comes to things outside his immediate realm.

I really think this might be your most well-written story to date! I can't put my finger on it, exactly, but there's a real pacing and depth to this I like very much! Which is not to say your other stories *don't* have that, because they do! Maybe it's just that this story approaches the relationship so differently. I'm fascinated with it and can't wait to see how you proceed! ;)

Author's Response: Wow. **blushing profusely** Thank you very much. I am approaching this relationship from a different angle. I can't wait to see where I go with this either, I'm writing on the fly...let's hope it works out. ;)

"Right as rain" is very appropriate for the end of this chapter.

Sean's death and all, there was a heavy sadness to this chapter. Damn him for just walking away. that was the one time he really should'n't've respected her wishes!

Author's Response: What can I say, Logan's got a thick adamantium skull... THis is turning out to be a heavy story...more soon.
