This story is becoming a fast favorite of mine. Oh, who am i kidding any story with the name Winderider1 next to it is an immediate favorite! So, i have this Ro/Lo side of me where i want Ororo and Logan to conqure all odds and have a happily ever after.

But then i read this story and i don't know, i see my self kinda, sorta, maybe rooting for the Panther to woe Storm. *Dodges Blunt Items* I mean atleast he's coming correct with his advances. I'd take him of Storm decides to live in an African nunery.

All i have to say is that Ro and Lo better get their shit together. And i will still be looking for my happily ever after Ro/Lo ending. But not without a few awesome bumps in the road along the way.

Author's Response: There will be plenty of emotional bumps in the road between our favorite duo. As for T'Challa...don't count him out of the running for Ro's affections. Logan is a bit thick when it comes to things outside his immediate realm.

I really think this might be your most well-written story to date! I can't put my finger on it, exactly, but there's a real pacing and depth to this I like very much! Which is not to say your other stories *don't* have that, because they do! Maybe it's just that this story approaches the relationship so differently. I'm fascinated with it and can't wait to see how you proceed! ;)

Sean's death and all, there was a heavy sadness to this chapter. Damn him for just walking away. that was the one time he really should'n't've respected her wishes!

Egad this is lovely! And it shouldn't be because it's T'Challa but your writing is utterly beautiful! I loved the description of his skin color, melted chocolate and just as smooth now that is truly one of the most poetic descriptions I have ever read. And the mother - despite the way she was itching to check out Ororo's teeth, was just wonderfully, delightfully done! Her earnest desire for her son's happiness and for grandchildren tickled me despite not wanting to like her or T'Challa in this situation.

You see, Windrider your stories are little gems that put mine to shame! Darling, if Dickey could write a story like this then I wouldn't feel half the despair I feel over the pending nuptials.

At least Scott's words had some effect on him and made him think. Finally! ;)
Now Ro's back home and Logan already feels more centered. I'm glad he noticed that, heh. On the other side she feels completely out of place. Not at home.
I really hope they are going to find out that "home" does not necessarily have to be a place but a person... That they DO belong, to each other :D

This story is going to have me in tears very soon...I can just feel it. This is excellent...your stories always are. But let me just say that Logan better pull his head outta his butt, and fast. I'm not entirely hating T'Challa in this story, though you know I want to, and I don't want him to get Storm, but he at least realizes how special she is...that she is worth waiting for. Oh Logan you better get your crap together buddy! LOL.

OMG, his mother! *shocked* All she sees in Ro is a birth-giving-machine! Checking her out like some sort of cattle on the cattle market! She's even worse than her son! And here he even said he would give up his kingdom if that's the only way to be with Ro (I wonder what his mother would say about that idea LOL). Was that even the truth or did he just tell her that to get to her? I mean, I'm sure he knows what Ro wants/needs to hear...
Ugh, I hope Ro seeks out Logan soon to find out about his feelings. Even if it's just to make sure he doesn't feel a thing (which cannot be btw. ;) ). But maybe he'll come to his senses first and goes to find her instead.
