Zeppelin, nice. That song is the perfect backdrop for this story, especially the APC remake. I feel really bad for the guys. Logan especially. I feel bad for the other guy to. To have her tell him that she doesn't love him is a real burn. Just thinking about this in context Ororo is weaving a deep web. She's playing the role of the proverbial spider well. Can't wait to see the update.

I don't remember reviewing this today, but I sure read it. As always, I am TOTALLY jealous at your ability to dig deep into the characters' psyches and dig up all of the stuff that they would probably love to keep hidden. Me, I always try to dig deeper, but the sand keeps sliding back into the hole! Storm is definitely a girl behaving badly, and poor Logan is spending a lot of time making me pity him. The other song that this reminds me of is "S**t, Damn, Mother****er," by D'Angelo, particularly the lyrics "Why are you/bleeding so much, Why/Am I/Wearing handcuffs?" It feels like this story can only end in tragedy, physical or emotional or both. Which is actually kinda cool...can't wait for the update.
Author's Response: Don't be jealous! I just have too much time on my hands to make up lives for fictitious characters that I don't own. I like mindbenders. :) If anyone who should be jealous, it's me. First let me start off by saying, once again, that I love/hate this story.
You have managed to take my favorite character and make me hate her. I didn't think that was possible.
This is really good writing. It has to be when it stirs up genuine emotions and trust me it did. I wanted to scream at my computer screen, but I was at work and I didn't think that would be a good idea.
I hope that in the next chapter that something good happens to Logan because he deserves it...unless he messed around on Ororo and then I wouldn't be mad at her anymore.
I don't see how this story could turn out to be a happy RoLo story, but I'll keep reading despite saying everytime I wont.

Ororo is steadily digging a deeper hole to bury herself. I'm still wondering who Mystery Man is. Poor Logan. I actually feel his pain through my monitor. It probably was wise of him to leave, rather than murder the duo. He'd feel even worse if he killed 'Ro.

I was stunned! I was not expecting this in a RoLo story. But I must admit that I am enjoying it. Now, I am just wondering can Logan forgive her. He's a proud man who places a lot on trust. And can she forgive herself for putting him through this hell? Most of all I am wondering who is she cheating with? Is it Scott?

Love, love love this. Though I wish Ororo wasn't so sure that she didn't/couldn't love her "lover". I know I should be outraged at her infidelity but the scenes between them are heartbreaking adorable. Plus I find it hard to believe that anybody could be a better lay then Logan. :)
BTW - The promise of updates to Codename and Odalisque make me want to dance around the room.

Did she drive Logan away? I have no idea of where this can go for here. The situation's dire for both men. Your concerns about the chapter. I say don't worry about them. You had a serious idea going for their deception.
I like this better because things happen just because. And it's not important "how" it happen, but what they plan to do about it now that it has happened.
From what I can tell, Ororo wants to break it off, but she's sending old boy mixed signals. Quite a tease. I don't think she knows what she wants.
Now let's get some Beauty and Pain going. You knew I was going to ask.

Whoa... she's got the game down to a science. Ororo is "breaking 'em down like a fraction." I love when you say that. Bahahaha... I feel sorry for Logan, but I feel sorry for this other guy too. I'm not sure if Ororo is sincere or if this is more of her mind games. Is she really sorry about what happened? Does she really want her affair to end? This is serious.
