I agree that this is different from what we usally see from 'Ro, but I enjoyed it because she's traditionally been the one who has hid her emotion and there have been times that she's been downright bitchtastic. I'm feeling the aloofness because I think she'd definitely have that down to a "t".I see the stuff I told you about my sister's VEGAN GLOVES OF DOOM (dun, dun, dunnnn...) did come in handy. She gets on my nerves about those damn things.

Brava! In stories, it's usually Jean and Logan who are capable of cheating--assuming that Ororo is cheating. Since she was vague with her response, I think she is. It's a change. It makes me wonder what would cause her to cheat on Logan. I think people don't write about her cheating often because they don't like to write outside of that perfection persona she's actually become known for. Even though these are just comic book/movie/cartoon characters, you give them a different facet to their personalities making them realer. I enjoy your action stories (BP UPDATE! PLEASE!), but what really draws me to your stories is the way you're not afraid to explore, to put a character outside their element and pick them apart. And reading your stories doesn't make me feel like I've found my mom's romance stash--Odalisque being the exception, but that's good Harlequinization of the fandom. You've Harlequinized your fandom!
Author's Response: Like I've said one hundred times before, people always say, "I won't ever do this or do that" but in reality, you never know what you may do or what you're capable of. I said I would never get married or have children. I tore that all to shreds. I'm trying to handle this without making it seem gratuitous. Anyway, just keep reading! :D

Damn...Did 'Roro really chat on him? Why?!?!?! I know you've said you'd contnue but i think this story should be left as it leave us wondering. Although i would like an answer to my questions above, i really don't think i could forgive 'Ro if she ever really cheated on him. I liked the whole pararel between the spider & fly story, but i also don't think 'Ro would ever be so decieving and cheating would be kind of out of character for her. Liked the story and while i think it should stay this way i will probably read more if there is more.
Author's Response: Thanks for your review. That's why I like to explore these aspects of characters because I believe that anyone is capable of anything. It's human nature. And I could totally see it, especially with some of the recent "moods" she's been going through in the comics. I could especially see it more so in the X-treme era than anywhere else, but that's just me. :)

The tension in this made me feel like I was spying on them. I felt like I was listening to a private conversation that I shouldn't have. So many people focus on the "godly" aspect of Storm. You've showed she has a sense of humor (the "Where are my pants?" t-shirt) and you've shown that she can be sly. That's why I like your stories and this site. You, and the other writers on this site, make her a real person rather than some unfeeling goddess.

Told ya I'd come to review you after I came home from seeing X3 again. I already summed up my thoughts about how much I enoyed this story on ffnet. I wanted to add how you didn't stick to the traditional role of making Logan the one who's devious and stringing her along or being the dominant one in the relationship. You show that Ororo is capable of posing a dominant, seductive figure in their relationship. Woman on top! Yeah, yeah! Thank God this isn't a one-shot. LOST is God's gift to the world. I can forgive you for being delayed by LOST.

So help me, you've done it again. It's amazing seeing both of these two with this much depth. Can't wait to see who's boots are under Ororo's bed when you continue to develop this, and to see how she justifies it.
...doesn't mean you're off the hook from finishing Odalisque, though, or that other great story of yours about Logan and Ororo meeting as teenagers. Although those ficlets you mention in your notes sound good, too. Where are you posting them?

If I haven't said this before, I'm saying it now. Your writing voice is spectacular. I love it. It's amazing how you weave your words together. They have an effortless flow. I get excited when I see you've updated or added a new story. I'm loving seeing Logan drown in his love for 'Ro. Ororo is definitely working him. I'm not sure if she's cheating on him yet, but I can't wait to find out!

I would've cried if you had because there's so much I want to know who the hell this person is and why is he breaking up a perfectly good relationship. And will RoLo survive? Why is she doing this?
