Hmm. I don't do the hot-n'-heavy stuff (much) nowadays, with none of my ongoing fics allowing for it (atleast not in the happy way). Nevertheless, good imagery and great use of words.

I try not to make things too crude, I didn't want it to read like "Logan turned to Ororo and growled 'I'm gonna butter yer muffin, babe, assume the position!'" Sorry, just me being silly. I'm glad you're still reading this, BW. The Morlock kids were also kind of overlooked back in the day; Leech was the only one who ever had a speaking part, and it was usually to grunt "No powers."

I sooooo loved the scene with Ro and Logan in her room. The massage, the talking, the kiss... just everything about that scene was perfect. Wish it was longer though, but what else do you expect from a RoLo-addict LOL Can't wait for the RoLo to continue ;)
I hope Ro and Kitty will be able to work things out soon. They really give each other a hard time. And what does Peter think about Kitty being with Doug all the time? That can't be easy for him either.
I just have to get back to the RoLo scene LOL That was just soooo perfect! :D Loved it, totally loved it!

Author's Response: Ro and Kitten didn't really argue much in the original story, but the thought occurred to me, they would have in real life, in a situation like theirs, where Kitty was locked into a certain mindset of thinking of 'Ro as her mother, and feeling like she deserted her like her own parents did when they divorced. In the original, Peter and Kitty never really discussed her friendship with Doug on-panel, but Peter was chopping down a tree with his one good arm and complaining to Logan about Douglas. The next we saw of Pete and Kitty together was them breaking up after Secret Wars. Marvel missed a good opportunity to deconstruct their relationship more before they chucked it, I think. So good! I absolutely loved the way you portrayed Ororo in this chapter. How does a Godess handle herself when her authority is being questioned. I have not read the comics but the TAS episode where Ororo rescues Scott and Jean is one of my favourites. Poor Ororo she's really having a hard time with Kitty and i asume Piotr will too. The little Ro/Lo moment was perfect and it really left me wanting more, but it stopped at a perfect time. I can't wait for more.

Author's Response: There was a lot going on during this time period in the Uncanny canon. After the X-men got back from space (and the Brood saga was one of the lengthiest arcs in the history of that book), there was Scott's courtship of Madelyne Pryor (who looked like Jean), the Morlock Massacre, Secret Wars and all the tie-ins, Kitty being kidnapped by the White Queen, and Kitty becoming a ninja in her mini-series. It seemed like a lot of tragedies were being thrown at them at once. I think of those stories as having some great moments for Storm. There will be more RoLo eventually...I keep promising that! And Ororo will continue to have her authority questioned.

Just read it and even though you mentioned it beforehand, kept on looking for a 'good amount' of RoLo. **Really have to get that 'dunce' cap off my head**

Though initially it does feel kind of odd reading about a 'current' story set in the 'past' (issues), it works out in the end. Just needs a little reconfiguration.

I bet Logan enjoyed every second on the plane with Ro sleeping (and drooling) all over him LOL. I can see him sitting there, grinning to himself, looking very pleased, heh.

Author's Response: I picture a gradual "slide" of the two of them cozying up on the plane, after all, it WAS a long trip ;-) Yup, I think Logan would have been kind of smug, too. He might even tease her about snoring in chapter two...

I like where this is headed. You can already tell she really likes him because she's drooling for him, literally. Can't wait to see what else happens.
