Cee I hate you. I can't stop laughing. Ororo and Logan's lunch date was so disgistingly cute. And now the image of Logan dressed as Batman is stuck in my head.... oh and Remy dressed as Peter Pan... lol I'm glad I wasn't eating or I would've choked. Which Catwoman outfit? The tradition one or the new halle berry verison?
Author's Response: Heh. Thanks! Glad this tickled you, I had fun writing that chapter with the lunch date. I was that close to having Ororo do a spit-take with her lemonade, but I decided to give her a break. Remy and Rogue in coordinated costumes was a no-brainer to me. And I was thinking the Batman movie Catwoman costume with black leather, minus the stitch marks, with zippers instead.

Finally stole away a little time to read more here on the Realm. I am loving this story. I love all your stories, but this one in particular is like talking to a personal friend. Now I have to take a food break. I think your story made me hungry, but I will catch up with the rest of this. :)

This started out as a fluff piece before all these funny little thoughts came to me, telling me to take it a few leaps further...it should have only been about five chapters, Ororo should have had a Wonder Woman costume, they should have fallen in love after the ball, end of story. But you know me...I have a hard time with fluff for fluff's sake. I'm just too angst-ridden, twisted and dysfunctional myself to write something with an easy ending!!! BW is still sending me hate reviews for the Catwoman suit! (grins) Anyway, thanks for visiting, it's good to hear from one of my favorite writers here.

Author's Response: Ya know, my favorite part of this piece to write was Ororo remembering her mom's advice about a guy not buying the cow if he gets the milk for free...I just remembered sitting there with a goofy look on my face, mumbling "Mooooo..." and thinking it was something I would want to read, or hear as someone's internal monologue. Call me crazy, everyone else does...glad you got a kick out of this story.

I ended up reading part of the story on my train ride home the other evening and ended up finishing it on my way back into work this morning. Let me just tell you reading a fic with a hang over is not a good thing. Not, a good thing at all.
So, i'm all like WTF when this Catwoman chick shows up and starts kissing Logan and i'm having a straight fit on the train. Then i pass out on the train. Wake back up out of my hangover semi-coma. Start reading the last few pages of the update again. And finally realize that Ororo = Catwoman.
Thats why i was all confused when Wonder Woman Left with a "Whip".
I loved "The Bronx Tale" reference when Ororo reached over to open Logan's side of the car on their little lunch date. I know dudes who REALLY take that "test" seriously.
I can't wait to see what else you have in store for the Dynamic Duo. LoL. Okay, i'm off to go pass out in one of the empty conference rooms. Update soon!
Author's Response: Woman, what are you doing trying to read ANYTHING with a hangover? Didn't the text kind of swim on the page through the torturous glare of whatever light you were reading by? That's just punishment...ouch. Yeah, that whip thing was kind of a sneaky bit of "foreshadowing." Or something like that. That lock thing was from Bronx Tale? Thanks for educating me. Have someone wake you up soon, I'm going to update this thing when I can come up with a way to finish it.

Catwoman? Haha, brilliant! I could have sworn she'd show up as Wonder Woman, heh. Perfect! And Logan as Batman LOL LOL. The idea popped into my mind but actually reading it was priceless. When the DJ commented on that short Batman I knew it was him. I bet he looks fantastic. Cute even :D

Author's Response: yeah, he was cute :-) I told myself "these two haven't really been on a real date yet, they don't have reason to be kissing yet," but then my usual overactive RoLo gland began pumping, and I said "what the heck, they don't need a reason, let 'em mash face!" And mash face they did. Next update is coming slowly; too many distractions to think.

Wow. The whole chapter made me smile. That kiss was beyond HOT! Loved it! I was so sure that she'd be Wonder Woman, but I guess that was too obvious. :) Logan as Batman? It's just too hilarious! Loved seeing Anna and Remy as Peter Pan and Tink. Two of my fav characters EVER! Thanks for the update!
Author's Response: Well, everyone's guess was Wonder Woman, and it was mine, too, for a while...but for some reason I wanted a moment of shock, and a sight that would make Logan's stomach drop into his shoes (poor guy). Glad you kept reading!

Author's Response: There's just no pleasing you (although I am still laughing guiltily here in my little naughty corner). A Wonder Woman costume would have been predictable, and at the very worst, gaudy as hell. Have you SEEN any real life Wonder Woman costumes in costume shops that aren't Linda Carter's original suit? They suck. Skip any updates to this if you feel they're too traumatic (sob, sniff). And update Once Upon a Time, fer cryin' out loud! Quit readin' my crap, add on to yours!!! (chuckles evilly) I'm going to beat you soundly about the head with Catwoman references until you give me a Once Upon a Time update!

For the love of the Goddess! You and your updates at the most inconvienent of times. First it was giving up on sleep and now i'm debating whether i should stay at work late to read.
To Hell with it....I'm printing this bad boy out for some good reading on the Flatbush bound 2 train. Now, i've never been so anxious to leave work just so i can read the new update.
