I am absolutely speechless. Your pacing is perfect. How you go from the flashback scenes to the present is just seemless. You write all the characters so well, so true to character. It always makes me laugh when fanfic writers do a better job with the charcters than the professionals...makes you wonder who should really be writing these comics. LOL. Just amazing. I am anxiously awaiting the next chapter. Don't keep me waiting too long. :::wink::: Hey wait a minute. Didn't I start out this review by saying I was speechless. :::shrugs shoulders::: Oh well, I guess I'm just one of those talkative speechless people. LOL.

Really nice concept. I don't remember if I've read that comic where Logan gets his adamantium skeleton ripped out, but I love what you've done with the idea. And I like how you emphasized their friendship first, moving in that direction before doing anything else.
If Logan and Ororo stay just friends here, I will so not complain. They're lovely together like that.

I so love the banter between them! "Where did you go?" - "Canada. With you." - "Was I dressed?" LOL, so good!
Very deep and moving when they learned about his past together. Especially Ro's reaction when she saw what they did to him on the photos. Loved how she got him out of the medlab the instant Jean and Hank mentioned that they still had some tests to do. They can be happy Ro didn't fry their asses for that! The interaction between Ro and Logan is fantastic, I so can't wait to read more! :)

Heartbreaking stuff. You've given me new reasons to love both these characters as much as I do. That's what I hate about Marvel; they write a dumb new comic about Logan's origins that doesn't ring true at all after he gets his memories back, and they send Ororo, his best friend that he has feelings for, all the way to Africa. That was the worst thing they could have done. This story falls easily under the category of "what they should have done in the first place with these two." Beautiful.

OMG, this is chalk full of so much goodness, I can't even type. My eyes are all squinty from my stupid grin.
Best parts are the entire memory sequence, so natural, so right.
"Yer right so much, it’s fuckin’ sick" Perfect Logan line.
And 'Ro taking him from the lab. Perfect.
This is by far some of the best writing I have ever read--fanfic or otherwise. **claps and whistles**

*sigh* Oh thank God the site is working again so I can read this. I was about to have an anxiety attack. Fabulous chapter. Love the banter between them, and the characterization and dialogue is dead perfect. Also love the way Storm handled Jean and Hank. Can't wait for the next chapter, so continue soon. :D And now I'm gonna go check out To Survive. :D
