Author's Response: Hey, I enjoy destruction running rampant, so sue me! Of course, I love RoLo running rampant, too, but this wasnt the chapter for that. I wanted it to occur to Logan on some level that he's starting to fall for Ororo for more than surface lust. It didn't work out the way I wanted it yet. I might revise this one day.

Author's Response: 1. I had better shape up, then! *grins* 2. Jubes is fun to write. And I like Warren and the fact that he was in the movie. Wish he had more lines in it. 3. Their differences are a hurdle they will need to leap over together. And they will. 4. Stryker WAS a crazy religious extremist fascist who thinks the sinners (mutants) need to be killed for "good" (humans) to prevail. Guy sets a horrible example, doesn't he? Jean isn't exactly herself, let's just say that for now. 5. You always give me something to aspire to, Kathy!

Wow. I hope 'Ro, Logan and Hank start to figure out what's going on soon. I wouldn't want to see the kids harmed because of Jean and Stryker. LOVE Dani and Sam. How adorable are they? Wonderful RoLo moment. Great update!

Author's Response: Thanks! I enjoy Sam and Dani in the old books, they were great individually or together, and they had a nice rapport. Always wished they would have made them a couple, but they mired Sam in a boring relationship with Meltdown that made me snooze and sneer. Poor Dani never, ever had a boyfriend, which sucked, since she was so cool. Logan and 'Ro and Hank will definitely be the ones to spring into action. Scott will be harder to convince at first...trust me.

I love reading fics about Dani's powers. You and Minisoo do such a good job with her. You should find someone to draw this. I mean common, it already reads better than a grapic novel. So lets see it as one.

Author's Response: I loved Dani, because I wasn't much younger than her character when New Mutants came out, and I thought she was the coolest thing since sliced bread. Girlfriend could ride a horse, a motorcycle, kick butt, and scare the bejeebers out of people. I try harder to characterize her than any of the other kids in that title. And Minisinoo writes a much better Dani than mine, I love her fics like a fat kid loves candy. Hook me up with an artist! We'll bring the manga, Reiko! Viva la fanfic.

Author's Response: Smalls? Is that from a movie? (totally clueless) Glad you are enjoying it thus far. Sorry I haven't made Jean clear enough to read. All I can say is...she isn't who or what she seems to be. (ever read the Inferno arc of Uncanny X-Men?)
