Scott and Ali? More please and thank you! Man, who would've thought they'd be that hot? I'm sure the words, "Jean who?" were running through Scott's mind during the kiss. And of course Jean had to show up and attempt to ruin the fun. I'm glad she didn't.
I laughed me ass off at Jean's plight earlier in the chapter. She deserves all of that heartache after the way she treated Scott and Ororo.

Author's Response: "Jean Who?" Yeah, that was probably running through his mind. Jean had no business telling anyone who they could be with, so she got a little slap in that scene. Scott got to be the bigger person that time, which he deserved. I love that song, too, and used to belt it out in the shower (I was, like, 14 when it came out!). The song was a prelude and teaser for the Elvis wedding in Vegas. Glad you enjoyed this, girl! Thanks for the review.

Now that’s some ‘real’ reality! I was staring at the screen with my mouth hanging open as I read this, half in shock and half in amusement because of Jean’s predicament and then Ali! Now, that’s good writing.
There was one sentence I wasn't sure of but think you switched Crystal's name instead of Lunas - You say he was hoisting Crystal up into his arms.
Luna had graduated from an unwilling kidnappee to a bubbly chatterbox – loved that line.

My husband's nieces are always like that with me when we go to visit, and they don't usually warm up to me until it is time to leave, or unless we take them to the store!
