Man that sounds ominous for or poor feral...for all sorts of reasons. Good to see Gyrich may wait until his next assault since the prime units may not be as reliable as he once thought. Yippie!

Author's Response: Ominous, indeed! (I love that word.) 'Ro may have something to say about that. Gyrich won't be able to keep up his threats pretty soon. Personally, I'd like to see him get his ass beat! Thanks for reading.

Damn. I finally caught up with all the new chapters, and now I'm sitting here needing more! This is so good! And you just stopped here, gah! At least Ro's got a pulse... *tries to calm down*
I love how everything's so brilliantly woven together! Magneto and Lorna, Mags' and Forge's part in this new threat, the connection between Eric and Logan. I actually feel sorry for Forge here on how he got betrayed by the government. And I immensely enjoyed each and every RoLo moment, no matter how tiny it was :D I just love this story, Cee!
I have an image floating in my head and I can't get it out, it's too cute LOL Logan in the infirmary, sleeping on the bed, snuggled up in Ro's cloak. Too bad she didn't see that *awww* :)
Off to bed now. It's too late for me already, but I just couldn't stop reading :D

Author's Response: Thanks for the feedback; I'm impressed you have time to read at all, Steph, so I'm flattered to death. Logan in the infirmary was a scene that came to me that I liked a lot. I see him as getting some comfort out of things that smell like 'Ro. Might have been out of character for Logan, since he's so tough, but I still liked the image. The Eric/Logan story was one I have been wanting to write for a long time. They just strike me as having so much in common. Thanks for visiting me and leaving such encouraging words.

Dang the drama! Who'da thunk that Magneto would be fighting with them. I almost feel sorry for Forge, his whole world has been rocked. I wonder how they could label him a traitor when they attacked the X-men in their home. At least 'Ro had a pulse I wonder what they can do for her...Good stuff!

Author's Response: Thanks! Forge will have to do some damage control. Otherwise, Logan will kick his ass...he might anyway!

You meanie!!! Taken out Ro like that and making her all blue. *Sniff* Nooo, wait did you say sexual tension??? All is forgiven.

Good points in this were, as usual, Lorna and Eric. Loved them. I never liked any incarnation of Lorna, she tends to be whiny and selfish, but here she is understandable.

More please, my bowl is empty.

Author's Response: 'Ro had her turn to rescue Logan's behind a couple of chapters ago. And somebody's gotta play nurse for her while she's out of commission...or play doctor. Hee hee. I was never super fond of Lorna, either, with the whole dumping Bobby for Alex thing (twice), and like you said, being whiny. Once I cook something up, I will pour more into your bowl.

wow. That was some emotional punch you just delivered. Damn. I'm sitting at my desk, rocking forward in my seat, nearly falling on my ass, face to screen and blammo--you stop. MORE!!! now if you please. :)

Author's Response: Oops. Blammo...I need to quit doing that... my writer's block also needs a swift kick in its fat tookus. Just as long as it isn't in my fat tookus. Glad you liked it. This story was easy enough to spit out chapters for in the beginning, but I'm hitting that "what the heck do I do now?" phase. Might have to just scribble some mindless sexual tension soon... or make Ororo do something embarrassing. I love writing that, too.

I have to say I'm not a Lorna fan and not even much of a Maggie fan but you write them so well I'm interested in them! Well done.

Author's Response: I'm glad you read it anyway, Darlin, and thanks for the review.

I wonder how the dual father/dictator role will fair for Lorna in the long run. I hope that they can kick Prime butt an not loose Cerebro! Good chapter.

Author's Response: prime butt will be kicked, but not without a few near misses. Lorna will have some hard decisions to make.

I love this fic. LOVE it with a passion. There is so much depth to the characters that I find myself drawn to each of them, and oddly sympathetic to each plight. Brilliant job. You wanna bottle some of your talent and send it my way? **bats lashes** I hope you find the time to update soon. :)

Author's Response: Stinker. You know I'd give my eyeteeth to come up with lines like yours, let alone dialogue. More Charade when you're free, kid! Thanks for the review, ya know I love 'em!

No more lecturing me on my cliffhangars, k thx? Wow, this was one hell of a chapter. I'm so in love with this fic, it's not even funny.

Forge bad. Throw rocks at him. But I'm still oddly endeared. His guilt was palpable.

Magneto...wow that guy just gets more and more complicated. His revelation will have far-reading consequences.

I am Hank's willing slave. I will trail in his harem. You rock the blue furball, especially with this line: “Despite appearances, I’m more of a man than you, Erik. And don’t provoke me.” That's our boy.

The scene with Logan and Ro just killed me. Dead, I tell you.

A wonderful chapter. Pure emotional, gut-wrenching poetry.

Author's Response: But...but...you always give us killer cliffhangers, you! (and they rock, by the way) Yeah, Forge bad. Forge need smack. I like him though, too. He means well. And Magneto had that little tidbit of information from the beginning, even though I didn't allude to it much previously. At least, I don't think I did. I see him being a lot like Forge, except he didn't mean well. He wanted to use his government connections against them. And YOU rock the blue furball! He broke my heart in Tell Me, I'm stil picking up the shards. Glad you're enjoying this, I know I get long-winded. (and another Shatter update wouldn't hurt, either...if you wanted to)

I loved that scene between Ororo and Logan.. and I loved 'Ro telling Forge off. And now I have this odd image of Magneto purring like a cat...

Author's Response: That was the image I was going for! Magneto, to me, is someone smart and devious, and he should also have his moments of humor every now and again. There was a moment in the short-lived "Excalibur" series with Magneto and CHarles where Charles told him "and take off that ridiculous helmet, Erik!" That cracked me up. More to come soon.
