Loved this chapter, although it was heavy with my two least favorite characters----Yes, you guessed it. Rogue and Jean...evil wenches out for themselves. Can Jean just die now?! I mean, poor Cyclops deserves and needs better. There's Psylocke as a professor who would be a fantastic match for him. Scott really doesn't need that venomous woman. As for Rogue....she's an ungrateful twit. Maybe she'll grow up. But I'm a bit supporter of Kitty/Bobby---if Bobby would grow up and get some balls in this story as he did in the movie. Bobby was uber-coolness, him and Kitty's laid back---hard worker attitude is sizzlin'.
Great chapter..off to the next I am.
Author's Response: I admit I am ambivalent about Rogue. In the movies she's sweet in the ultimate verse I think she's a twit. My Rogue is messed up because I've made Mystique her Anna-Nicole-esque mother. Who, BTW makes an appearance later,

I'm really loving this! Your characterizations of everyone are great, especially Mystique as the harpy serial bride (I really loved that). As much as I heart lust, angst and smut filled moments (and trust me I do), I also really enjoy well written moments of friendship, you got a good balance of both.
Can't wait for the next chapter!

Yup, that old JHS is really starting to flare up.
Jean really needs to get her priorities straight. It figures she's the one who hooked 'Ro up with Forge (the dog). How can Jean be worried about Ororo's lovelife when she plans on building a life with Scott on a deteriorating foundation of lies and treachery? She just doesn't want Logan to move on... selfish bitch.
I feel bad for Scott... but hell, maybe he's sleeping with Emma on the side. That wouldn't make him any better than his soon to be wife, though.
Marie, that poor girl. I never did think Raven would make a good mother. She's much too self-centered to give a damn about anyone, including her offspring.
I can't wait for the next update! I'm anxious to see how this story unfolds!!!
Author's Response: LOL, thanks for the response. No, Scott is not seeing Emma. He's totally in love. Poor guy. Jean is gonna be in for a big surprise when Scott finds out about her and Logan.

Jean needs to back the hell up! So, she gets to screw Logan for as long as she wants to and end it. But when she sees Logan and Ororo FINALLY coming to terms with their feelings for each other, she wants to destroy it? Uh uh... Poor Scott. He's so clueless, it's sad.
Man, I can't wait until the truth comes out! Please hurry back soon with an update!

Somebody please smack that lying snake in grass ! I cannot believe her! She's doing every thing that she can to atone for her affair with Logan my ass! Want to atone tell the truth and take the consequences!
She doesn't think Ororo and Logan should be together? Who cares what she thinks? I hope Ororo blasts her skanky butt out of the water!
I was thinking about your response to my previous post and how Ro's reaction will not be as strong to the Logan and Jean affair because at the time she wasn't involved with Logan. I do agree to a certain extent. But I think that she would still have a very strong reaction considering that Ro has always been protrayed as a woman of honor and the man she chooses to love would be a person of honor as well. So I think her reaction in some instances could be worse than Scott's, because her view of person that she thinks Logan is could be seriously shaken by the revelation of his affair with Jean.
Can't wait to read more.
Author's Response: Oh, without a doubt. Don't get me wrong, Roro is gonna be pissed. Right now Logan and Jean are both feeling guilty and relieved that they dodged a bullet. But they are living with a very false sense of security. Both Ro and Scott will react strongly. Really strongly. Really.
