I love this story. I can't even begin to describe how I feel like I can reach out and touch them and the way they feel. For instance, this is one of the few, and I mean FEW, versions of "bitch" Jean that I love. Sure I hate what she's doing, but you have made it so human, and it feels like a situation that anyone could find themselves in.

Yea, she's being selfish and only looking out for herself, but she honestly believed that she wasn't hurting Logan, and believes that in the case of Scott "what he doesn't know, won't hurt him" idea.

Good job. You really nailed it. I can't wait for more. You have me drooling for me.

Author's Response: Bingo! That is exactly what I was shooting for with Jean. I personally dislike the Jean character in the comic books. But I am really trying to not let that color how I am creating my version. She's selfish and a little spoiled. She does love Scott but Logan represents the forbidden. Wow. This is good stuff. So much drama and conflict...I love it! Can't wait for more. I've read tons of stories where Jean and Logan get it on behind everyone's back, but this is the first one to make my jaw drop when I realized it was her he was with in the locker room. I totally didn't see that coming for some reason. Good stuff.

Lawd have mercy...you know, I don't ever think I've said this before, bui I was actually holding my breath for the last 1/3 of this story. Goodness gracious, that was rough! Talk about bad luck. I'm really feeling for Ro right now...hopefully Logan can pick up those pieces soon;)

This is a very well written story. You do a great job of keeping the story moving along where it could get slow and stale. I love the love triangle that you have going on with these characters. I was a little shocked when I found out that Logan was sleeping with Jean. I thought it would have been some new character, and after hearing how Scott was feeling about getting married and having to WAIT for his wedding night!! I just knew that everything was hunky Dorey bewteen Jean and Scott...Jean is a trip having Scott to Wait while she'd off boffing Logan...If I were Scott I'd have to seek some nasty revenge....and sad to say Logan is no better. I cant feel sorry for him having Jean hurt his feelings when he was actually FRIENDS with Scott, and yet still thinks his feelings for Jean take precident over eveything else....I love Logan, but with his actions in this fic he gets no sympathy from me....and I cant imagine Ororo's disgust with them BOTH when she finds out what they did....I was almost in tears when Ororo found out about the ring...I love stories that can spark that kind of emotion....Keep up the great work and I will be looking for another chapter soon!

Author's Response: Thanks for the thoughtful response. The test is to see if I can redeem Logan in a believable way. I think of the two, Jean committed the bigger sin. At least Logan's motives were based on the naive notion that Love Conquers All. Whereas Jean's motives were less pure and more complex.

Dang. Everybody is having a difficult time of it (Hank worst of all or not since he died believing he was loved and marriage-bound). Guilt endlessly abounds for both friends. Oh boy. Really a great fic. I look forward to your next update.
