This isn't the same story by a long shot. I like both, but I like Logan in this one more, he's more mature and caring this time around. Still, I miss the scene from the original with the milk jug and "nice landing strip, 'Ro." But I'll live.

I want to be your beta! I’m kidding but not. I wish I could but no time and yet your chapters are such a perfect length, not too long at all. You have a line that made me smile throughout the rest of the chapter: and fell into sink behind her. For some reason I thought that was cute. But enough already, I will not mention misspelled words again after this review. On to what I thought of this chapter.

I’m really intrigued by this alcoholic Storm, haven’t seen that done before and originality scores extra points with me. I love how you have Logan out of the loop like that, a very thoughtful and realistic move that. I’m intrigued with the slew of characters you’re introducing at a steady and comfortable pace. And I love the contacts! Yay! It’s the only way to rectify their ‘oversight’ – how hard would it have been to stick blue contacts in someone’s eyes? But I digress. I’m not sure what Logan means when he: “wish he had stayed and left.” Or, regarding Scott: he couldn’t speak currently – totally lost me there.

Plots are everywhere and I really, really like that. Logan’s wedding band with a foreign word inscribed on it, a resurrection, Trask, Mags, Wanda, Marie! I mean wow! My hats off to you, it’s amazing all the things going on. Yes, I’m quite intrigued.

Well, I'm enjoying this. I love short chapters too. It makes it so much easier to get caught up.

This is very different. I'm guessing it's in screenplay format which is fine. It's dark. Marie's dark, Ororo's dark and Kitty's grown up a lot, seems quite cynical. I love Peter and Illyana, the latter being one of my all time favorite characters after Storm and Dani I think. The scene with Peter was nice, great descriptions, very nice.

Now I'm not sure where this is going, not quite sure what to think of this either but I'm intrigued. A darker version of the X-Men has much potential.

There's only one problem that I see which is that you have a lot of misspelled words. Normally a few here and there is no biggy but there are some that actually hinder the story. When you say "Xavier's gave" instead of Xavier's grave it's easily understood typo, but when you have "headless rain" it gives unwanted amusing visions which I think ruin the mood. And I'm guessing when she's talking to Scott the misspelled words are due to a drunken slur. Aside from that it's a story I'm looking forward to reading more of.

Jubes speaking French patois on the phone to an older guy from Harry's...sounds naughty. Artie and the sandwich was great. I want more Piotr!!! Hank, too. I've had a hankering for Hank lately...

Logan's observations about Ororo's behavior are fun, I like him here. I can't wait to see what Ororo thinks will cause "panic" when she goes to help Magneto.

Wow. My own shout-out, Piotr and Illyana, and a completely different take on the scene with Logan encountering Ororo at the headstones. I love her cussing out each one of her friends with everything she had bottled up (yes, pun intended, you know me).

This was good. This one has a darker feel than version one, but it works. Mind you, I still love the first one...talk with you this weekend.
