This was hilarious! I would love to see Ororo leave T'Challa at the altar for her true love Logan...ooohhh that'd be AWESOME!!!!

Author's Response: Man, you and me both. I'm torn. I had a third installment of this story that was going to deal with that, but I don't know where to go wtih it.

I read this at fanfiction.net and enjoyed it, wanted you to finish it in fact. I'ts good to see it here.

Author's Response: Good. I'm dithering with the idea of completing it in one way or another. Thanks.

I really like the structure of this story. First the dialogue with very little exposition, then the fact that it is coming from Kitty's POV is a nice touch, and finally the time progression. Very nice. I hope this isn't a one-shot because I very much want to see what happens.

And as usual, your dialogue just crackles! It is witty, fun and I can seriously close my eyes and "hear" the characters talking. Nice use of canon as well.

Author's Response: Cool! I crackle! Sweet! Thanks, Pandora. Good to hear I didnt drown anyone in exposition for a change, since I tend to do that A LOT. I love Kitty in any canon, and tend to enjoy writing her thoughts or dialogue. This is a one-shot, but it has two sequels in The Best Man and Or Forever Hold Your Peace. The third one is proving harder to write. And praise from you is high, indeed, coming from the woman who gave us "The Ro and Lo Show." I still love that...

Dang. That's rough. It seems like 'Ro is drinking her troubles away...or not.

Author's Response: On the surface, this was a fluff piece. When I dug a little deeper, Ororo seemed to be having second thoughts and cold feet. And again, she should, marrying a guy she only started dating for about a month after not seeing him for years! Stupid Marvel...'Ro might get her act together soon.

Stellar. This past week I've been discovering your stories. Your storytelling coupled with your excellent dialogues keep me going. Loving you and this right now.

Author's Response: Thanks, girl. The dialogue is something I have to work on, since I always let it get lost in my exposition. Or, I write it, and it doesn't ring true to my ears. Thanks for reading and the feedback. I enjoy your writing, too, since you take the characters pretty deeply into their psyches.

...ok I never want to have a last night out party... but the shopping spree and spa trip would be great :) I loved it!

Author's Response: Bachelorette parties are always scary! Fun, but scary. I told it from Kitty's point of view, since she was someone close to Ororo who would be vocal about her getting married and leaving the team. GLad you enjoyed it.

This was at ff.net too, right? Poor Ororo. Feeling like you're trapped is never a good sign in any relationship. Her drunken confession was hilarious. (I've had a few of those myself.)

Nice one-shot! ;)

Author's Response: I love drunken confessions. In my opinion, being a queen and expecting to have a "king" for a husband wouldn't lend itself to much personal freedom. Glad you liked it!
