There is a chance that i've already reviewed this chapter, but before i go on, i needed to say (and i may have said it before) YOU REALLY TURN A FLAVORFUL PHRASE. my fav this chapter alone is
If she wasn’t busy working him over, it would have been a nice voice. Deep, throaty and smooth, a low alto, the kind of voice made for laughing until you were breathless. Her inflections were familiar, definitely an east coast girl, but not necessarily by birth?
I swear i really get chills and if i was honest with myself... uh, nevermind that. Why in the hell don't you write professionally?
Author's Response: Because I don't know how to package myself, I don't have any idea for a book that lingers long enough for me to write a first chapter, and I have that inborn fear that even though I like words, I might actually suck. Love the fact that Ororo and James dislike each other, while Tory and Logan have still got the chemisty - hope they manage to work it out....and the restroom scene - before they got all sensible - hella hot!
Author's Response: I had fun writing that scene, but I wanted the moment where they recognized each other to have more punch. But I'm still really glad you liked it! I always like stories where the characters start off not liking each other but end up having chemistry on a physical level. I've read every Rachel Gibson novel ever printed and a lot of hers are like that, but I added my own touch and made the characters have the chemistry first. So sue me. Thanks for reading.

I had an awesome review, but this board is screwing with me. So, I'll give you the abbreviated version. 'Ro and Lo butting heads via the phone/emails is funny because when they see each other in person, they're explosive. Emma and her minions being "mean girls" = hilarity. Is Logan searching for his mother or is she dead?

Author's Response: At some point, they had to remember where they were and they were there, i.e., business. If they don't kill each other first, pleasure will come later. I wanted to demonstrate that it didn't take much to stir up passion between them, even after a long absence. The spark hasn't died...it might ignite pretty soon! Thanks for reading!

Author's Response: I had fun with that. I hadn't planned on them knowing each other so much, as just having them meet again, dumbstruck that they worked for the same company, and starting a professional pissing contest once they were in close contact. Who knows how long it will last...*whistles*
