It took me a while but I finally got caught up with your story at work today though I read this chapter tonight. Yours and Cee's are the only stories I'm really following right now since no one's updating. I have to say I enjoyed Rogue's 'group hug' bit, like the fun rapport the girls have which says a lot for me because I don't like movie Rogue and don't see her fitting in with Kitty and Jubes who are two of my favorites. That says a lot but I guess I've said it before, movie fics just aren't my cup of tea and yet your story continues to intrigue me.

Author's Response: I have to say I'm very flattered. I know how a lot of the hardcore X-Men veterans don't like Movie Rogue. To be honest the only reason why I tolerated her in the movies because I treated her like a separate entity from the comic book source. Plus the fact she wasn't really a strong character in the first place. If anything I was trying to give her a more realistic feel. Like how any regular girl would react if they were cast in that situation. I think maybe that's why people are more respective to her in my story. But again, I have to say I'm very happy that you've actually been enjoying her character. And thanks for reading. ^^

Once again, Jubes Kitty and Rogue as the three musketeers in this story is priceless. "It was his abs, wasn't it?" wahahahaha...

Good stuff, good descriptions, and I like the chilly blankness Jean read from Logan and how unsettling it felt. Good job.

Author's Response: I have to say again, I love doing the Jubes, Kitty and Rogue scenes, almost as much as I love writing the RoLo. The three play off so well with each other. Kitty tends to be the more mature/serious one. Jubilee is the loud, zany personality and Rogue fits somewhere in the middle of the two extremes. The three have a nice weird but close friendship. And their also a nice break from the more serious tones that the story can have. Doing Logan for this chapter was a challenged because I didn't know exactly how far I wanted to take everything. I wanted to make the Beast seem like a separate entity altogether, that had only a sliver of restraint that could easily been broken. Which I think kinda showed. Next chapter is going to be interesting with X-men going up against the Brotherhood.
