Oh wow it's been ages!! I've been on the out myself due to school and pressure to get all the work done which I was not successful in, but luckily will be done with it all by Saturday. In any event, in lieu of a break I intended to take, I decided to show up here and what to do I find a good story.

Okay, I'll review and give my input on this chapter. The first is one negative aspect. I don't think you have Remy down. I love your writing as you very well know but as for Remy here...not very Remy like. Not non-chalant enough, not debonair enough, and definitely not Cajun enough. He sounded very "American" ie upper mid-west areas. Not like he sounds in the comics where he seems even more "french" than really Cajun. But the accent is a bit poor is what I mean.

Other than that the fic was excellently done and I loved it. I was actually hoping you'd write the earlier part of their relationship and what went wrong in it and if the red-head was a random chick or someone we all know---hmmm...Mystique popped up. Mainly because we all know that Mystique and Storm have some stormy (don't excuse the pun ^_^) waters between them in consideration of Storm's former fiance.

I actually liked that you didn't have Storm and Remy have a past, although I wouldn't have minded seeing it if it was included since it would have been interesting to see how Storm and Wolverine both have respective pasts with Remy. Maybe you can add that in another fic, if you decide to come back to contributing.

It would be interesting to have Rem show up randomly and mainly....because he want's Stormy's help or even Wolverine's and ends up finding the other one there and building the story around the relationship between the three. Meh, it would be interesting if Storm and Wolverine both had a past they forgot about and it's through Remy it comes out.

In any event, that dynamic was a great inclusion and definitely adds some spice to writing if you know what I mean and definitely some much needed excitement to readers like myself to see how skilled writers like yourself adapt to the knowledge.

In this fic I really enjoyed the start and hope that you have more to add more. I also wanted to add that I liked the romance element. I liked that Wolverine nor Storm didn't walk away here and lie to themselves. It's something that irks me so much about the writign of the characters because the characters appear to have no balls when they walk away. At least here they won't lose that chance and they're willing to make a go of it again..

Dude, you're back! And packing heat it seems. Nice little movie-verse story. I was a bit distracted with Gambit being present because of with where Origins takes place wouldn't he have been in his 50s or 60s, since it depicts Ororo being a toddler. But then I realized that we don't know how far in the past his meeting Remy was so its all good.

Either way it was a good read. Although I wanted to strangle Logan when Ororo found him back in the party. Its great to see you haven't lost your touch and I hope to look forward to see more from ya, lass. Happy New Year!

Author's Response: HEY! I can understand Remy throwing ya, but given Logan's agelessness and the fact that Wolverine seems to span a few dozen years, i just assumed Gambit was a more recent acquaintance ;). I'm glad you liked it, and as always, thank you so much for reviewing!
