Undeniably a great read. I actually liked this version more since I like introspective work on Wolverine. Wolverine is a tough cookie to write for, but you have always had a knack for really getting the best of him and Ro...in paticular Wolvie.
As I stated in the other fic, you have plenty of room to grow on, which is something I always love about your fics. You can definitely do a nice short prologue story to this event, you can even do a sequel to this set of fics as to the struggle they go through to regain that trust in each other.
At that moment in time when Wolvie went to the nearest red head he did exactly what Storm's ex would do, which is something completely appalling. I'm even surprised by his actions since I'd put that a bit above him. But nothing can really question a hurt wolf. In any event it was a great entertaining read and I'm glad your sort of back.
I gues I'm planning on rereading all your work and rereviewing....to give you motivation to get back into the writing biz.

Windy! Let me start of by saying that its nice to see you back and that your alive : )
Secondly, a wonderful one-shot, New Beginnings is as wonderful as many of your other stories. What I like most was that you included that little bit about Gambit and Wolverine knowing each other. Which is an slightly different contrast from what we are use too, considering Storm usually has Gambit in past - either way, Wolverine still hate him, lol. I liked that the humor between Ororo and Logan, their banter is always enjoyable. And what you did with the different perspective was neat - did I seriously just use the word neat?......
But I do have bone to pick with you now that your here, where is an update for elusive 'Fall On Me' Hello, wonderful story right there. And what about emotional stirring, ‘Stand By Me’ do you have plans on picking them back up? I think you should consider it *wink**wink**nudge*nudge* lol

Author's Response: HI! I'd say it's good to be back, but I felt really rusty. LOL :P If I do update a story it will most likely be Fall on Me. It's the most open right now, so that would be where I go...however, that's still a bit off. I miss the RoLo and most of all you guys, but there was some recent drama with Bloodbonds that still leaves my mouth sour. Sooooo.... My apologies, I didn't realize you posted another chapter. I have to say this addition left a better feeling in my gut to these two future. The alternative pretense of Gambit helped to fill in some of the scene. And i'm glad you didn't play too much into Emma's role. (granted she's to be in Origins also, we'll overlook that)
I have to agree with another person's review, this chapter seemed more emotional driven. The havoc that Ororo plays on Logan's heart, is really well felt. Almost understand why he sought to be with Emma...Almost.
Either way, a nice addition. Just as good or even more so than the first.

Gosh this chapter was so much more emotional! I felt for Logan for once and it felt oh so good and after reading Ch.1 again I also felt that same sadness from Ro! Gosh, how do you do it? You are such a Ro/Lo wench! I haven't been this excited about an update since.......well, a long damn time! Write on windrider1, write on!
