Just going back and reading a few of my favorites and ran across this one again. Surprised I never left a review, I loved this fic so much. The characterization of everybody is off the chain. Everything about this story has been flawless. Hope to see an update to this one soon. A A

Author's Response: Thanks, Angel. The story is still tugging at me. I have a whole stable of fics in a handful of different fandoms that I have been neglecting. Work, kids, art and all kinds of other stuff has been pushing these stories off my work table. I appreciate the feedback.

any chance for an update on this, OCN? really would like to see what is next for Ororo with her modeling.

Author's Response: I'm trying to dip back into a lot of my stories. When I'm not writing, I do a lot of drawing, and I'm working on some concept art for one of my Twitter friends this month. Thanks for expressing interest in this story. it's actually one of my favorites of my own stuff that I'm still working on. I have a couple out here that I have completely abandoned, where my muses have just shrugged and said "we got nuthin'." There is a lot more in store for Ororo and her modeling, more shows, more spreads, travel, you name it. There will also be more rivalry with Callisto, which I enjoy writing.

I think both Remy and Ororo are fortunate to have each other in their lives. There are parallels between the two lives, and if they make it through whatever is to come plot wise, they could definitely have a rewarding friendship. At least, imo. To me, there just seems to be a tenderness and mutual awareness that could go either way. I'm just a lil' biased though ;) But I admit it :D

Ororo's past with Vic was gut-wrenching. My heart goes out to her so bad, because I can only imagine how bad things must have been for her to stoop down to a level like that. Was sad, but very realistic. I'm glad that with Remy's help she has a chance at promising career and she can leave that mess in the dust -- forever.

Callisto is a (not so nice word). I loved it when Ororo basically told her that she was on her way out. That was epic. It's funny because 'Ro seems to lack confidence (I guess because of her past) but when the rubber meets the road, she holds her head high and grits through whatever she needs to and I love that. It's like there is a ray of hope for her, to find security and repair her life, permanently.

And how about that 'Swag'? I'm so excited for her; I hope she and Remy blows that mag out of the water. I'm so glad she's happy about the offer. Can't wait to see what becomes of it. I want homegirl to blow up! LOL

On another note: I very, VERY, rarely read RoLo. The fic has to be really exceptional for me to read it. That being said: You write incredibly and in turn your stories are incredible. I check this site every so often and since finding this story I began looking at some of your other stories and you are a talented writer. And for a enormous OreO fan (who doesn't read RoLo) I hope you take that as a compliment.

I wish I could favorite this story or alert it, but alas, I guess I'll just have to check for updates occasionally. I had no idea this had been updated.

Oh and sorry about this looooonnnnggggg review =)

Author's Response: I don't mind a long review! I LOVE them! I like OReO too, and I have had people get a little annoyed with me for going so far in that direction with this story so far, but it will change pretty soon, and go in directions that I hope aren't too predictable. Victor spoke to me. Some of the Marvel villains that I scribble in fic do that. I can see him enjoying having an advantage over a young, vulnerable girl and feeling big when she accepts his shady offer, like he owns her. He isn't finished in this story, and Ororo isn't the only person he's burned before. The Rolo thread is running through this story, even though it's subtle. Logan has his own past that's slowly looming in my brain fog, waiting for me to write it. I want him and Ororo both to grow a little before they connect. He's fresh off an ugly split, she's trying to build herself up and gain some confidence, and she's fighting the comfortable, familiar convenience of a seemingly perfect man taking care of her, when she needs to learn to take care of herself. Thanks for visiting, Ashra.

I did a jig when I noticed this had been updated =]

Ororo and Remy's past were extremely gritty. Both the accounts of there past were shocking. But very real. Perhaps they can both comfort each other in that, if Remy ever learns of it. [I do like the Oreopairing too]

I felt so bad for Ororo when she didn't get the job, but then I whooped when she got the other one. What a business!

Love this story. Bunches.

Author's Response: I had to throw Ororo a bone. I want to keep moving her along in her career, and I wanted to do the scene with Callisto, who is one of my favorite of Ororo's "frenemies" in the Marvel Universe, along with Emma. Keep practicing that jig. I have updates in mind soon; right now, I'm actually in the middle of updating Getaway, which I haven't touched in... around two years or more. Yeah. Guilty.

Here's hoping the muse fairy comes to visit you soon because I'm lovin' this story!

I am in love your your Ororo she is fierce. I like that even though she still carries her beauty gracefully she has a little edge to her. The way she handles Callisto...fab-u-ous! I hope she shares her past with Remy before it catches with her.

I would love to see more of a certain sex cabby...what was his name again...James Howlett, I think.

Great job, I can't wait to read more!!

Author's Response: I wanna see more of that cabby, too. :) Ororo's going to realize how much her past is going to bite her if she doesn't deal with it, not just in regard to Remy, but in terms of maintaining her image and her integrity. I'm having fun with this, but it just takes me time to get back to it.
