Well worth the wait! The descriptions you use for her hynotised catatonia, her possession, Logan's anxiety and reaction to her condition. So diififult to capture those physical and mental feelings! Just such a great job! Very amusing the you're-a-mutant, no-i'm-not conversation with Ororo.

You can never do wrong, all your stories rule. Okay, I hate this other guy already since he's making trouble for Logan and Ororo. Is the guy obsessed and in love with her> That would be kind of spooky, yet cool if it was.

Uh oh. Trouble in the relationship. What did that weirdo Branloch do to Ororo? And what about the Lord does the townspeople know but aren't sharing? The suspense is killer!!! =D

I have been a huge fan of this fic since the first three chapters. BTW, kudos on the quick update... life is good. The characters are so well written, descriptions and sceneries add color and depth to the moments, I feel, we share with them. Due to my ever present personal fear of overkill, I was initially very wary of the story progressing farther than Ch. 7. I felt right there... it was a completed fic. Yet I continued to follow, still immersed in this world of Mariko's design. And it has been enjoyable following them on their adventure through Canada. From the wilds of the city to the wilderness of the vast forests, a good ride to tag along with. The lake scene was breathtaking. But with this chapter, and its unexpected flashback arc... here we go again! Please do not make us wait too soon.

Ooh, nice mood and atmosphere you have going there. Logan is such a romantic. Love it.
