Author's Note: Sorry it's been a while. Just a quick heads-up. This is part one because writing this scene happened quite by accident actually. I wrote these two chapters together in one shot to make a single friggin' scene. And it ended up being close to 7500 words so I broke it up into Part One and Part Two, because there is so much information to explain about X-business. As a side note, all the references to military bases and projects are fact and reality supported to give a sense of realism to the story (yes I did research, that's how much I care) but obviously, any mention of how these researched things pertain to my story are fictional.
