Yeah, I have to admit that I read this story so often it's ridiculous - hey, you know a great present to everyone for the holidays would be another chapter right? Hey they say if you don't ask you never receive. Thanks for such a great fic.

Author's Response: Christina, Thanks so much for taking the time to leave your comments and I'm glad you continue to enjoy "Eye" as much as I've enjoyed writing it. As stated last year, I do have large parts of Ch 30 written out and only hoping to finish up a few other projects so I can return focus to this one. Truly hopin' it wont take more months, but perhaps only weeks to get this out to you. Thanks to everyone for your patience, above and beyond. - W6C

Ok, I need you to do me and everyone else a favor. FINISH THIS STORY! I have never read such a well thought out depiction of Logan's character as this. It has so many various degrees of the human condition that its almost one part fiction one part science lesson. And its a shame its not finished.

Author's Response: It is indeed a shame that I've been stalled quite often in my attempts to bring this saga to a close. However, I have no dismissed this story, it's taken many years to get this far. I do have 10 pages of Chapter 30 drafted out and now I simply need the time and focus to put it in coherent order. I thank you very much for your wonderful review. Your words help to spur the muse and I appreciate the time you took to send me feedback. I assure you though that this story will see completion..... eventually. *grin* Thanks again - W6C

Author's Response: I just wanted to let everyone know who is still interested that I'm working hard on chapter 30. Hopefully my muses will stay strong and real life will cut me a break here. Looks good so far. -- W6C

I actually liked Victor in this. Unless he's being controlled by that group and just sharing all that so Logan will come with him and get caught again.

You're making it really hard to figure out who you should trust in this, you know that?

Oh and did you get the silly picture I sent?

Author's Response: *chuckles* Poor Victor. You sound like Cyke there Tiger. lolol Vic can't catch a break huh, always under suspicion. lolol Well it is part of my intention to keep you wondering. I mean, Logan has lived with these uncertainties his entire life... not a nice feeling to have to always wonder about people's motives, is it? Nope it aint. But I'm glad you liked Victor, I think he'll be of interest to you in the coming chapters... and I think he's gonna be surprising people left and right. And yes, I did get the silly picture. Thank you! lol *gives a hug* -- W6C

Hmm…how do I follow up my last review….
This was a very intense chapter and its not just because of the thorough information that was given to us. But because of what the information means. As always you are concise and able to bring these characters to life. I don’t know what scares me more Dr. Maier or what this chapter means for the overall story.

Victor. Unlike the feral, ‘second-rate Wolverine’ that many author s has fixed him as. You have made him into in-depth character with purpose. His history with Wolverine is very believable and more interesting than the ‘father-son’ dynamic that has been shown before.

Every chapter you write is the worth the wait, no matter how long it takes. Loved this story from the beginning, can’t wait to read ‘The Pursuit of Weapon X’

Author's Response: Wow, what a fantastic review. Thank you for such in-depth feedback, it's always great to hear what the readers are thinkin' about when they read a story/chapter. I was really hoping that those very things would stick with you. Not only the eeriness of Maier's perspective on the situation, but precisely what this chapter does mean for the overall story. Events will be taking place in future chapters and I won't be able to explain the "why's" while it's happening. So I needed this chapter to explain, so it can be used as reference again if needed because too many other things will need to be focused on without bein' interrupted by such indepth explanations. Victor... well, I've been waitin' decades for someone at Marvel to show a few more layers to this character and was always left wanting.... much like the RoLo connection we've all been waiting hopefully for. I hope to show him as a more interesting dynamic, a more layered "onion", as most of us are. Thank you for the wonderful review and feedback Roxxi. I hope the comin' chapters wont disappoint. --- W6C

You updated! Does happy dance.

Do we get to see what these dastardly villains plan to get up to in the next chapter?

What I really wanna know is - do we get some down and dirty fighting?

:0)

Author's Response: Oh yes, we'll get to hear a few of their ideas. And the down-an'-dirty fighting is comin' up too. Lots an' lots of conflict, stress, angst, comfort, adventure, blood-letting... all comin' up soon, so stay tuned. *grin* --- W6C

Youre back! Thankyou for the new chapter. I gotta wrap my brain around all the details, but what of Ororo and Logan? Great stuff here, and I feel the need to read more.

Author's Response: I am back, yes. *smiles* Yep, this chapter is information heavy that's for sure. This is one of those "for future reference" chapters. I needed these details in order to set you up for some heart-rending scenes comin' up. Hope you stay with us as we come closer to the conclusion of this long saga. Thanks for the feedback, Lovy --- W6C

Author's Response: Thanks Dragon. It's great to be back and writing again too. I'm already workin' on Ch. 30 so hopefully you wont have too long to wait. --- W6C

Always detailed and always entertaining! Not only do the clinical descriptions and the philosophy make this more real - and chilling - but the story references were easy to recognize. And I can see why you incorporated them, too. I LOVED the Sabertooth miniseries back in the day, and I think Marvel cheerfully forgot that they printed it, judging by the horrid storylines with Vic now. It's funny, because looking back on how Logan behaved when he went feral in the early chapters of this story, it now reminds me of how Vic acted in those Xmen issues after Logan popped a claw into his brain.

I'm so glad that you updated this. Tangible, in-depth storytelling that we've come to expect from you, buddy.

Author's Response: Thanks so much CeeCee. I love it when a reader recognizes the "easter eggs" I drop into the story. *grins* Funny, I never made the connection between Creed's childlike mentality way back when to Logan's feral childlike behavior. But I can definitely see the resemblance of the two. Thanks for pointin' that out. Thanks also for the very nice critique, your support is always appreciated. --- W6C
