wait, what did the letter say??? And I've heard of Maggot but I never knew that his real name was Japheth. That really sounded painful. But really I want to know what the letter said! Why is she asking him to come to New York? Not that I'm saying he shouldn't go, I just want to know why she's asking him to come. now.

And I always thought that Jean was older than Ororo for some reason... Ororo acts older, but Jean just seems older... does that make sense?

Author's Response: Charles is asking Logan to come, because he was one of the only people who could get through to her in the wake of what happened back in Cairo. There is a great bio on Japheth on Uncannyxmen.net that explains it well. Jean and Ororo are around the same age, I think, since Ororo's age was never detailed that much when she came to the team back in Uncanny Giant Sized 1. All I know is that characters like Nightcrawler and Piotr were between 19-21 when they joined, Sean was older, around his forties, and that Proudstar was old enough to drink. Jean might have been a little older than Ororo, but I wager they are the same age.

Ohhh, Japheth's mutation just kicked in. Poor kid, I'd freak out, too, if some creatures would just erupt out of me without warning...

Author's Response: The missing stuff got eaten! One of Japhet's "pets" were nibbling on his sandal, by way of brief explanation. I had fun writing that part... Ororo and Jean will get into mischief once in a while. I always like the Classic Xmen issue when they had ice cream and went shopping, when Ororo explained her claustrophobia. Creed and Logan will show up soon.

How old is Ororo? I can’t wait to read the next chapter UPDATE SOON.

Author's Response: At this point, I think Ororo is about twenty-one. I will have to go back and check the timeline of the story, but when this started, she was about four or five. Thanks!
