Author's Response: I debated on whether or not to even have a scene. Originally I just wanted a bit of quiet dialogue between them where Logan tells her he doesn't want to play games, and asks her whether she cares about him, if she's even capable of caring about him. He's getting through to her, but even with her distant nature, physically they connect, something tangible they can both hold on to. Rahne is my favorite New Mutant. I loved bringing her into this story, which I realized was fitting since Moira is in it, too, and they are in Scotland for part of this story. Her interactions with Kevin will be interesting. But there's more trouble left to come. Thanks for the review!
