Great update! It’s been so long since I’ve looked at this story I had to re-read it again – not a hard task considering I do remember how much I enjoyed it the first time. Although I don’t believe I ever reviewed? So will cover the main points now. I love the complexity of this story - You’ve got some great opportunities to throw in some twists and turns, so much so I’m not sure where this story is going lead which makes reading it all the more fun. Your character development is great – you’ve managed to really develop other characters in line with the story so whilst Ororo and Logan are the stars you can still follow the back of the story with the other characters. Congratulations on Logans characters as well - at first I wasn’t convinced you could take an adult Logan saving a Child Ororo to a romance but you really have succeeded, not an easy thing! I don’t really have any criticisms other than to be careful you don’t lose a few readers in the plots complexity, especially for those not 100% updated on the comic characters and backgrounds – then again it may be that I hadn’t read it in a while and needed reminding - update again soon!

Author's Response: It's definitely not the story for people who have never read the comics, I will certainly admit it, but this is my pet piece. I've been working on it for a long time, and once I finish it, I'll wipe away the sweat, say "Phew!" and move on to my AU fics, which are a little easier to read, since they don't rely as much on character history and often have simpler plots. Glad you like how it's developing, I'm trying to stay on track. Adult Logan saving child Ororo was a stretch, I know, and it took a risk, but that was part of why I removed him for a while and let her grow up without him, so it wouldn't have that "Lolita" feel. In the comics, Logan is around 150 years old, and Ororo's supposed to be late twenties or even early thirties, so that's a big age gap, anyway. By the time he had his first cigarette, her grandparents hadn't even been born yet. Good to hear from you.
