Simply beautiful. You are consistently outdoing yourself with each chapter of each story you update. The descriptions and action are very moving and effective. You have a gift for detailing action and movement. You mention momentum and highlight visually the straining of triceps... you put a lot of time and patience into them and are very effective in transferring the movie from your imagination into ours. The shift in perspective from Ororo to Logan was not at all jarring. You also show a very good sense of the whole mechanisms of the creatures involved - completely forgot that Loganwould have to purge the poison from him. That detail I would have missed. Top notch! You are upping the stakes here! You are compelling me to update, myself! Please do keep yours coming, though. If you need time between, please do take it, especially if the results are as beautiful as this chapter was!

My Goodness... After rereading from second chapter to this, you do see the progression and escalation of the passion, the want, the absolute tension between Ro and Lo, especially Logan's. The madness of wanting someone but never saying or doing anything about it. And then it happens - in a flurry, a passionate haze. You wrotet the love scene so beautifully that the reader is caught up in the emotions behind it, not neccesarily the act - which I enjoyed. And although we are not in Ororo's head during these events, the way you wrote this, her feelings are clear. And because of that, we can bring everything full circle and see her impending devestation. And we feel it along with her. They are so human... you wrote them that way. (sigh) Yes, an update is needed. This is too thick now.

Gracious... Painfully, beautifully done. First you got me with the whole Scott: Serial Stalker action (well played by the way) then the emotions behind Ororo's discovery of Charles' condition. The 'confrontation' between 'Ro, Charles & Erik was, admittedly, a tough one for me to write; I've spent quite a long time over the past couple days in deciding just how she was gonna handle it. I'm hoping it was believeable, and not too out of character, considering the background I've painted for her. btw: the 3 Xavier Sisters are almost directly taken from my family--ah, memories...(lol)! For so long, there has been this association between Ororo the daughter and Charles as the father. More really a father figure since she was almost grown by the time the canon includes her. It is so refreshing to actually see what the dynamic would be if she did come to him as a child. How he would be as a father in the true sense of the word. Ro as the child not so emotionally scarred from her experiences as an orphan and urchin. Yet again, you bring us into an AU world that makes being a mutant almost as everyday and plausible as anyone else's. I think deep down, we love these characters so much because we truly do want to see them happy and lead somewhat normal, non-freakish lives. So where's the next chapter? HUH!?
