"Fuckery! Hellions! Heifers! You will all pay for this!" I'm over here snorting through my teeth over that. And of course, the source of her addiction...sheesh. Very silly. I can see, vaguely, whose kids are whose, and it reminds me of the GeNext comic that came out this month, which I still haven't bought. Are you adding to this?

I like the contrasts between romantic and sexual in the love scene, it was a good blend. Ororo was great, not passive in the least, I like it when she's a little aggressive and when he's indulgent with her. I laughed about the sink; my own sink was broken last summer when a pipe got clogged and my husband and his dad left it in pieces. It was like that for a week. I had to do dishes in the bathtub.

Author's Response: Hee, I had something eerily like that in mind with the sink comment - may have to write a drabble about that later. In my mind Kendall has, with purely altruistic intent, turned a clogged sink into a Rube Goldberg machine. :) Glad to hear the love scene came out all right - I like reading sex scenes with a dominant Logan as much as the next person, but it's nice to flip the coin every once in a while as a reminder that 'Ro's not exactly a simpering damsel in distress (more like a distressing damsel, if you ask poor Logan...)

It's so weird, reading a Christmas fic in the end of summer, but I get a kick out of it. Poor Logan! I like the exchanges between their kids.

Author's Response: I know, it feels odd to write it all out, too. :) Sometimes these things just come tumbling out at the strangest of times. And poor, poor Logan! He has no idea just what has just happened.

This was entertaining and easy to read. It definitely feels like a Last Stand fic, but I can't wait to see what you bring to the table. I like Logan's slow look around her room. Scoping it out! He's such a dog!

I had to read these chapters separately because I kept getting interrupted, but I'm so glad I checked for an update today. I really enjoyed this. Really.

There's just such deep, mind-boggling storytelling here. Two completely different Ororo's, both treated with a lot of consideration in how they are written. You can tell that you took a lot of time to craft them both, in a sense, both sides of her character that we sometimes see in the comics. You want to see Logan returned to the Ororo who is in love with him, but at the same time, you want to see him fix the mess with the one who believes wronged her and ruined her life.

Good stuff.

Author's Response: thank you cee. always great to get a review from you, lets me know what i'm doing right, or wrong. and i'm happy to hear that a sense of fluency is recognized in the writing, since the story itself is quite easy to confuse people out of interest with.

Logan's accent is a little choppy in bits and pieces. When he's saying "to you," make it "to ya" instead of "ta ya." Just a thought. There's also things like "Ya here for my pleasure now." It'd sound right if it were "Yer here." Go with "yer" where you would usually have "your" and this will be perfect.

In the meantime, I enjoyed this. A few spellings could be beta'd out, but I shivered during their interactions and felt how pissed Ororo was and nodded at her logic for being there. Was she interfering? Sure. She was being a real buttinski, but you could see that she meant the best for Scott, and in her own way, for Jean, too.

Can't blame Logan for getting turned on by a hot purple dress. It'd be nice if he didn't have to be an ass about it, but again, you've made me want the inevitable train wreck that will happen once they sleep together and deal with the consequences. Can you tell I love angst?

This is lovely. I haven't been on the Realm to read in eons, and you produce this oneshot that was just what I wanted to read this afternoon.

I love these two when they pillow talk when it isn't a big smutfest. I LIKE smut, mind you, but there has to be some feeling and some common ground. You captured a very real, mature talk between these two that I could easily expect, given their circumstances. Thanks for posting this great little nugget.
