I got in a tizzy a few years ago, decided to give up fan fiction, so deleted all my stories. But later when I went to delete my ff.net account I just couldn't. I felt I had one story left in me. But, um, yeah, no stories remain here. Sorry.
I'm not putting my stories back here even though two of the stories that were here aren't on fanfiction.net. I've been so lazy (one reason I'm not reposting anything here) but one day I plan to post the two stories I had here over there. And if anyone cares you can read my stories at fanficdtion.net under the same name, Darlin. I also have stories with Ororo paired with Remy/Kurt/Iceman/Quicksilver/Thor/Sabretooth and maybe down the road even with Legolas. And if you like LotR I've a link there to another account I have, dreamingnwatercolors, with a few LotR stories as well as Firefly and Hildago.
I have to say I kind of miss this site, the camaraderie. I wonder what's up with some of my favorite author's and hope they're well.

I love the premise. I think you have the neatest ideas for stories but - and yes I have to say it! - I always feel like I want to beta your stories! I can't help myself. But besides that I'm really liking this dark Wolvie/Claw and his attitude. I love that you don't have them close that their relationship is rather strained at this point. You can feel the tension.

Egad this is lovely! And it shouldn't be because it's T'Challa but your writing is utterly beautiful! I loved the description of his skin color, melted chocolate and just as smooth now that is truly one of the most poetic descriptions I have ever read. And the mother - despite the way she was itching to check out Ororo's teeth, was just wonderfully, delightfully done! Her earnest desire for her son's happiness and for grandchildren tickled me despite not wanting to like her or T'Challa in this situation.
You see, Windrider your stories are little gems that put mine to shame! Darling, if Dickey could write a story like this then I wouldn't feel half the despair I feel over the pending nuptials.

Oh, gosh! Beautiful! Beautiful! Beautiful! That's really all that needs to be said. Still, who would I be if I didn't elaborate? ;D I actually appreciate the spoilers as I'm no longer buying X-Men comics other than X-Factor and Ultimate (maybe) although I may give Astonishing another go since Mr. Whedon's realized his last arc was a bit of a dull over long mistake. Oh but, darling Windrider your story is no such thing. Who would have thought anyone would be able turn a horrible situation into something so delicious?
Your Logan was spot on. He always accepts the risks and Scott's changing it seems, rougher and less optimistic, a clearer head. I like him as you've written him. Oh, and poor Ororo! You made me feel her aching loneliness. I truly felt for her. And Emma! Oh, now that was funny! I love their relationship.
Best of all when those arms wrapped around her and it turned out to be Logan I felt so excited, I know - quite silly but can't help the RoLo craving. And on a totally different note I kind of agree with Rhapsody81 - I like core as you used 'center' twice but how picky is that? All and all near about perfect and wonderfully done. Now why haven't I added you to my favorites way before this? ;D

Onto the points of your review... I changed it to 'core' you and Rhaps will be pleased. LOL. Upon a fresh read, I happened to agree.
T'Challa. I actually like him--well, let me rephrase that. I like Christopher Priest's T'Challa. I don't have a good feel for his mother, because she is newly resurfaced. In Priest's run she was dead...so, I am writing her as I want. Overbearing, but good intentioned.
Logan, spot on? *grins* That makes me happy. Despite being a huge fan of Wolverine I sometimes feel writers don't get him, hell, I don't always get him. So thank you!!
Ororo and Emma. Yes, they have n interesting relationship. That'll be coming up in the following chapter.

Well! That was definitely an emotional chapter! What an ass that Logan! I suppose the ending redeemed him somewhat but oh how I wanted to smack him and then stomp Emma and kick Logan a few times just for good measure. The reality was harsh but it does look as if he’s at least thinking about how he messed up with Ororo! Now I can see her going back to charming T’Challa vulnerable and succumbing to that rascal but hopefully Logan will think about that too.
This has turned out to be quite a nifty triangle! I'm going to have to agree with the talented Minarya, this is the most compelling story you've written and quite possibly the best.

This story is so good, so well written, so lovely and heart felt that it really blew me away when I read this chapter a month or so ago. Very emotional!
In fact it was hard to continue reading this story because I don't want Storm with the Black Panther and you're doing a fantastic job of convincing me otherwise. That is so not fair! But I've missed your lovely stories and so I suppose I'll have to continue this, bit by bit, slowly giving myself time to digest the wedding. After all I know you're a RoLo shipper at heart.

And just when Jubilee was having the best sorta kinda daydream/fantasy she's told to go to her room, well sort of. Well, some pretty raw language but it is Wolvie and apparently a really messed up Wolvie. A pretty wild chapter and an even wilder ending - what's up with Ororo and Remy? But I loved that her thoughts weren't roll over and say nothing. Vengance will be mine!

All right! Syrinx is back! And what a story to come back with! I love your portrayal of Storm - confident, no pulling punches, ballsy and not taking any guff from the Wolverine!
