Discovered comics late in life when I came across a copy of Kurt Busiek's Astro City. Fell in love with the story and with Alex Ross' art. My husband, who owns boxes and boxes of comics (many of which are from the 60s and 70s, all painstakingly catalogued and in their own little sleeves ) got me started on the X-men when I evinced interest after seeing the first film. Even then I was a RoLo shipper all the way.
Love Sci-Fi fantasy books: George R.R. Martin, Steven Erickson, Lois McMaster-Bujold, Guy Gavriel Kay and David Webber are my favorites.
Appointment TV: - The Wire, Rome, Battlestar Galactica, Ugly Betty, Eureka and, sadly, American Idol. Own the box sets of Freaks and Geeks and Firefly, both shows sadly cancelled well before their time.
