I love this story, and my heart goes out to both of them. I hope Storm gets a bit more of the sympathy tho lol, she my fav character and although you have given her reason to break up the marriage i cant help but still feel a bit of resentment t her. and i hate that lol

one other question, the daughter, she has both a mixture of storms powers and wolverines?? I dont follow many of the comics so i'll ask you since i know you do. is this common for when mutants have children to inerit a mixture of both parents. If not y have you chosen to do so. many authors do this and i feel it can be a little uninventive

Author's Response: Thanks for the review. The feeling that Storm is bit (understatement) harsh in this comes from the hard choice she has had to make....and her having to live with it. See, with this latest chapter, you get to know about her and why she did what she did. As for the powers question, Kendall Logan is an actual character from the 'What if?' series that Marvel publishes. Her codename was 'Torrent' and her powers were a mixture of her mother and father's....i.e. weather+feral+healing. No claws though. From what I have seen, it is usually shown that the child has something from atleast one if not both parents. eg. Marvel Girl, Polaris, Nocturne, Cable. As for your last point, I avoid using too many OCs in my fics. Using a named (already existing) character gives sort of familiarity that OCs lack and have to build up.

They have been married for quite some time, have known each other even longer, and yet they don't seem to understand each other one bit.

Of course Logan is furious and willing to kill to protect his family, his pack. And of course Ro is against this killing because she vowed to never take a life. She also knows that there will always be a threat, no matter if a few of them get killed now or not. There will always be more of them. I'm sure Logan - the man- knows that too. But it's the animal side in him that wants -even needs- the threat to be erased, killed.

Sometimes the man just cannot fight the animal.
But he doesn't even seem to try here...
Ro's not helping much in that case either...

Was she looking for an easy way out? She must have known that Logan or better The Wolverine would do what he planned on doing if she didn't stop him. And she could have stopped him, I'm pretty sure of that. She always was able to talk back some sense into Logan/Wolverine. Why not now. Why didn't she try harder?

I don't blame any of them for their reactions. But the ultimatum I hate. You can't just give up on your family like that! And I'm addressing both of them here. Logan and Ro.

And I'm having a hard time seeing Ro actually doing something. Putting her family at stake like this.

I have no idea where this is going... And I'm still wondering if any of this is even real... Maybe they didn't only get Kendall. Maybe they got Logan too and are messing with his mind right now...
