Taking time to introduce a little of each person sets up their first scene together nicely. Ro's talking laughing to herself felt a little freaky at first but made sense as the first chapter progressed.
I like the sense of playfulness in their attraction to each other. It feels like both characters are revealing unique sides of themselves to each other at this early stage in the story.
Please finish this fic. I know exactly what you mean about the male tearing female clothes 'cliche'. It's tired and predictable!
