And maybe, maybe (yeh, I'm still hoping ;) ), there's gonna be something to help Ro. Maybe now that she's with her other half again, she'll get back her inner balance and just up and heals. Gawd, I'm a lost cause LOL
Author's Response: You REALLY are a lost cause when it comes to sappy endings, aren't ya? ;) 'nyways, I like them myself...but seeing that I am trying to keep this fic as realistic as possible, I don't think the 'inner balance' will work.

It makes sense. Every human being is born with the physical defect that will eventually kill them, so it makes sense that hers is also the mutation that she is blessed with. Good job working that in there. A tumor just wouldn't have done the trick, somehow. One itty bitty line needs fixing, and it will be perfect:
"He wanted to see, and her wanted to see her NOW!" Move "her" before the comma, and make the "her" into "he" before "wanted." Aw heck, you know what I'm talking about. Other than that, the line sums up what we know Logan is feeling perfectly.
Author's Response: Thanks Cee. I had had similar thoughts about the tumor/cancer scenario. Also, corrected the mistake. I know my writing is always chockful of typos. Thanks for pointing them out. BTW, check out the Storm wallpaper (Link) I posted on the groups.

Bless Yukio for finally getting him to call Jubes. Now I can't wait for Ro and Logan to be in one room together. Without shouting and fighting I hope... And I bet Kendall and James would love to see their daddy again. I'd also like to find out more about Ro's illness. What is it that it cannot be cured/healed?
Author's Response: Working on the next update (right now). I have decided to finish this fic before all else, and am writing accordingly....i.e. the others are taking a backseat. As for what Ororo has....soon!!

Author's Response: I had thought of making Yukio an ex-gangrunner but dropped that idea in place of a simpler, more 'civilian' one. Same goes for Mariko and Amiko.

Author's Response: Well, I just couldn't give him all anger, could I? After all, he exhausted that part of himself in all that time on the road.
As for Yukio n' Mariko, it was just something that I wanted to try. I might use it again (in another fic) or even try out some other pairing.

You know, this could be "Movie" Yukio with "Exiles" Mariko, since that Mariko was openly gay...just a thought.
Just read the Kitty and Wolverine mini from, like, ages ago. It struck me that Mariko wasn't all that jealous of a ronin who was always trying to steal her man away. I always thought that was a little...odd.
Now that we know where Logan's been, let's get back to how he's going to deal with 'Ro now that he's back, don't make us wait too long for an update! (I know, nag, nag, nag)
Author's Response: Did the movies even have Yukio? It was Yuriko in X-Men 1. As for the 'Exiles' Mariko, now that you mention, I remember reading about her and Spider-WOMAN (MJ), but didn't even think about that while writing this out. (Would have helped if I did. Could have brought it/them in earlier or fleshed it out better). Well, you gout ur updates coming out...soon. I am looking to finish this story now.

Damn..poor Jubilee and Remy can't keep a secret to save his bloody life. Well..at least now they'll see her side of it. It was selfish of Stormy..but at the same time, I can see why she didnt' want to burden them. Didn't want to make the last moments be something where she's being smothered and nursed. At least when they hated her it wouldnt' feel like something of a burden to them.
But it's unfortunate that she's left her children with a pretty awful perception of her. They love her, just dont' seem to trust her. I'm glad wolvie is back. I wonder how he found out.

Author's Response: Well, the children (or mainly Kendall) angle is one that I am still working out. That's why I mentioned that inspite of her intentions, Storm did fail. More on what she wanted...soon.

I love this chapter, in the whole story I think this chapter was my fave. I mean we have the past and the present. Probably also the moment when Stormy was ill and she went to see Hank that she found out that she was terminal. I like the past because it gives us a bit more on Stormy and we probably get an idea of her motives.
I like that this was more than just Stormy hooking up with Scott. This was definitely about friendship. I also liked that it was focused so much on Storm...and her connection with her kids.

Author's Response: Thanks. As with the last chapter (for Remy), I wanted this one to be about Ororo and what she had to go through for her to make a decision to act the way she had been and do what she tried to do. Glad it worked out.

woah...you brought Mariko and Yukio? Now that's hot. I want Yukio to come back with Wolvernie....I know it's not comic verse, but Yukio and Stormy are best buds. I was hoping in the years Wolve was married to Storm they might have gotten close.
This is a nice surpise, so this is definitely before he finds out about Storm. Oh, let me ask you this..I thought Mariko was dead...and what is she doing with Yukio?

Author's Response: Mariko, I don't think her name came up before in this fic. Any mention of Logan's past life (and possibly wife) had nothing to do with her.
