This is a great first story for different reasons, namely that it makes good use of the movieverse characters and keeps them doing and saying things that you would expect of them. Logan's probably the character I like the most here, since he's a little less gruff and more sympathetic, instead of just jumping down Ororo's throat to get a rise out of her...something we see a lot of in RoLo fics.

Poor Ororo's clothes...all that wet leather! The second chapter of this story has more going for it than the first, not just in terms of length, but just better insight into how Logan's feeling. In the first chapter, we just kind of get the impression that "Ororo smells sad" without any detail about why he thinks so. This chapter developed that idea more nicely. Little things about some of the images in this made me smile, such as Ororo being able to fall asleep in the middle of a soaking rainstorm (and the cute moment where he's carrying her up to bed), and I love him calling himself "this old man." That lent that discussion between them some tenderness and made you root for them both. Good work.

Wonderful start. Yeah its a bit short but the potential seems infinte, and I can't wait to read more.
