Summary: TO MARRY A GODDESS is the first draft of a fic Mick was planning. I found it on a CD and it is, I think, the last thing he wrote as a fic before going to the hospital for the last time. I have only corrected minor typos because I thought they made it harder to read, and I have spaced the huge paragraphs which were Mick's favourite expression. I honestly think it can stand on its own, Mick was a poet and the images and cadences of the song mix perfectly with his dream-like musical prose. I hope you like it, because it is a first draft, and shows the way Mick's mind worked when writing, thought following thought like pearls in a necklace. The rating is PG because Mick's language was high and low at the same time and there are some words which may offend young children. Nothing in it, I think, will offend anyone else: it is a celebration of love and marriage and a song of winds and flowering nature. Thank you for reading it.
